There are two cars to choose from in the Spoon Dealership. Perhaps you have the incorrect model.

I have the right one. Just that GTP Vertigo first posted that the spoon S2000 race car had a HP of 310, the banner shows the right HP at 326.

I like the pictures for the banners but it sucks that they have to be reversed. Can people just remember to take pictures with the car on the right side? Seeing the words in reverse is like watching an illegal stream of The Simpsons or something.

I thought I remembered seeing some on the left side too. I can just take more pics with the car on both sides. Loosen up a bit Desert, it's the weekend :P

hate them , horrible brake checkers ... What ever you do , don't follow

Sierra definitely feels like more of a cruise for the Ai. Not only are their brake points a lot sooner than a racing line, but their overall pace is much slower than the cars we are given. They also don't take racing lines through the corners, they seem to stay closer to the center of the road for the most part, so keep that in mind when planning your pass to avoid contact and keeping your pace up.

Didn't even notice till you said it.....

LOL I just finished updating the lineup post, but that's impressive @GamingPete!

I'll update the lineup post now. :)

OK so I checked the lineup post, and haven't seen any cars on the left side, so I'll remember to put them all on the right side now :P

Good thinking! Here's a list of things that I'm guessing increase the chances of a photo being used for a banner (and also make things easier for @GamingPete):

  1. Take photos that that have the car(s) on the right half of the photo
  2. Don't zoom in or zoom out too much, but you can still change it up
  3. Use a variety of angles and backgrounds (be creative)
  4. Tag @GamingPete when you post your photos
Pete, is there anything on this list you want to add, delete, or modify?

Also, the September 21st lineup has been posted! (with all banner hyperlinks updated as well) :gtpflag:

Good tips zer0! I've been trying to keep the car to the corner or side of the image so there's room to put the track map and details. I think some closeups could look cool as long as the focal point is on the right (car badge, distinct detail of that car that's unique, etc)

@GamingPete , The black whatever you call it, you laid the text on in the first 2 banners does what I think @TEX36 and I were talking about. Makes the white text really pop out and, for me at least, a little easier to read. 👍

I doubt I will race the Nordschleife ever again. Sierra is my kind of long distance road. I don't care that it does have several "fantasy" sections, I'm loving that track. The Scirocco was a blast to drive. I was having so much fun with it and didn't realize it was front wheel drive until I fell into a replay and watched it roast the front tires off in a second gear start. Actually checked in the garage to be sure it is FF. If it ever gets picked for a SNAIL combo, I hope it acts similarly to the Rally event I just finished. Probably not, since SRF was forced on. While I'm having fun with the Sierra events, the AI is at best troublesome and in some cases, downright rage inducing, restart button punching PITAs. Get a nose ahead of them on entrance and they still try to turn down on you.

I've run the FFB settings for my G27 to FFT-2/FFS-2 in an effort to git rid of some the chatter I noticed in the wheel during Wednesday's RCS. Ran it that way in the first Sierra event and didn't really like how easy it was to turn and lack of reaction to the road. I set it to FFT-3/FFS-4 and that seemed to work well for the Scirocco. Did I mention that VW is a blast to drive? :D

In other news, I got to crash a UH-60 and an AH-64 helicopter in the simulators where I work yesterday.

That certainly ain't no PC sim.

PSH, throw it into the corner, get that butt to step out, then give her the beans! Worked for me anyway. Scored almost 2 million points and passed 53 of those aforementioned PITAs and took the top spot on my FL. I'm good with that.

Time for a smoke and a nap now.

I think I managed near 2 million as well. Easy money with those 3 events for those that haven't run them yet. Be sure to have your full 200% daily bonus though, because it's worth it for these.

Muahaha I've found some wifi at the Nurburgring! On my phone so I can't post any pics right now. I have to say it's an incredible place to be here in Germany. Nothing like it that I've been to so far.

I know most of you want to know if I've driven the Norschleife but unfortunately we are just racing the GP circuit. Still quite an amazing track! Very fun and you're always busy in the car.

Practice and qualifying went well for us today. Got up to speed quickly and made great improvements over the span of the day. Got an awesome lap in qualy and then it decided to pour down some rain! Wouldn't be the nurburgring without it haha.

Anyways, looking forward to tomorrow. We'll be starting 13th on the grid (rained before Alex Buncombe got in the car) and our overall pace is definitely top 3 in pro-am. Everyone can watch the 6 hour Blancpain race live by going to NISMO.TV at 2:00am(PST), yeah it's kinda early lol. Should be fun! Talk to you guys soon!

Scirocco is one of the best FF in the game 👍

What about the premium Audi R8 race car? The silver one. And the Silver Nissan GT-R GT3 race car? Can those be painted too?

The Nissan GT-R GT3 can have both color change AND a number plate (first noticed when update 1.10 came out). The Audi R8 LMS Ultra unfortunately can't.

With over 1200 hours logged in the UH-60 I would recognize that cockpit anywhere, nice pic! I really miss going to the sim to practice ship landings, not something we did much of in the real world.
