Just going to throw this out. New drivers should post their interest in the thread and follow instructions given out by nmcp.

Inactive drivers should follow the instructions in the driver's list for returning to active status.

Failure to follow the proper procedures by either group may result in a delay to your division placement and/or return to active status.

As a new face gents i would like to have a opinion u may not like. Agree or disagree dont know what has happend or history here but one thing i will say is. We come here to race and discuss racing and all things to do with this. The forum i believe doesnt say S.N.A.I.L life debate I.E political, religous or personal opinions forum or keep them private as is very easy to offend on these subjects especially with members from all walks of life. So if u want an opinion, debate, rant, objection. Disagreement then do it about racing and all thing related to the black stuff. S.N.A.I.L RACING league. Nothing less and nothing more than all thing racing.

Ummm...I just wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to @Wolfsatz for the encouragement and advice last night in the chill room. I really appreciate it.
Prior to my joining SNAIL I was a "time trial warrior" sick of the wheel to wheel racing in online lobbies. Now i enjoy racing in gt6 like never before. I know i have alot to work on and am learning and through people like @Wolfsatz and @Rednose58 and everyone here who gives freely of their advice and experience to help others i am going in the right direction. My ultimate goal is to race in my division as clean and as fast as i can manage and i am having fun trying to do just that! so to all, i thank you for your patience, knowledge, experience, and understanding.

I had a similar experience back on GT5. I had a work accident a number of years ago that took me out for about 7 months. I'm now known as Adam 4 fingers. Anyway, I spent nearly the whole time racing. first I went through some of the regular races, did some online racing but got irritated with the typical "clean" lobby hijinks. I eventually found GTP when searching for a forum that had maybe some club racing or something similar. At first I did tuning challenges and time trial events, then got into drifting. Looking for a more structured racing club I found SNAIL, which at the time stood for Sunday Night Amateur Interactive League. Amateur sounded right to me. So I joined up. Snail kept GT5 off the shelf that is for sure.
On that note, time to get my lazy butt up and get started on that rig again.

Hey guys I'm back from deployment and I see gt6 has had some major updates! Been sitting here for two hours updating everything and salivating at the chance to try out all the new stuff.

I'd like to get back into the swing of things but as of right now I probably got 20 pounds of rust on me so I'll probably just play the game for about a week before resubmitting a time trial to get off the inactive list.

I can't wait to run with you snails all over again!

Nobby... you're a quick learner because you're getting fast around the track! I love battling it out with you on the track because I know it's going to be clean and fast!

Had a great time in that room last night. You were pretty quick out there @GTP_Nobby!

Thank you for your kind words. It is through racing and learning racecraft from guys in my division like @USERID_77a23 (who is patience personified), @MajorBlixem, @CoachMK21, and others, and in the multi division practice rooms that my education continues. I learn something from the fine people in SNAIL every time I race. You all are the reason I still play GT6 with a renewed focus. Race clean and speed will follow.
Edit: posting from phone and i apologize for the tags being messed up.

NOBBY! you're one of the cleanest racers out there and I ,for one, appreciate that. Hope to be racing with you again sometime soon

God i miss the days before pvrs! Were when you missed a race you would have totally been happy to have it plastered all over anywhere! So you knew who won the race!

Well when you're rooting for the Canucks, sometimes watching a purple dinosaur isn't such a bad idea

Sometimes isn't much this season so far :) Flames fan aren't ya? NHL.com did a poll 2 weeks into the season, asking which surprisingly good start were you most surprised with. Flames had a .500 record and were on there. Not very high expectations from the hockey world :P

In all honesty though, they have had a great start. Tied right now for 3rd in the west with us.

Both teams have been exceeding expectations so far, I mean Vrbata and Bonino are Dynamite for you guys right now, but we've got one of the best defensive pairings in the NHL as of now... It'll be interesting to see how both teams stand 20 games down the road!

Look out fast divisions... We've got a live one here.. very fast and respectful driver. Pleasure racing with you nobby...... but I like it better when you miss the grid;)

We have been getting depth scoring too, which has let the Sedins have some ice and go back to their game. Vrbata fits in so well with them. It will be interesting to see how well both teams hold up between new and Christmas. If both can survive well until then, expectations could change! I don't remember the last time the Canucks and Flames played each other in the playoffs. Would love to see that! :D

As of now, if the season ended, it would be a Flames/'Nucks first round according to NHL.com. Kind of hoping that this changes, every time we play one another the Flames draw the small stick :(

Friday, watched the latest edition of GTA. Good to see our brethren represent themselves so well, however a certain section of the show; the over-taking challenge, a stark reminder of our virtual craft, "hamstrung" two of our SNAILS. I watched in anquish as Boris and Danny criticized our boys for not assuming the "racing line" after overtaking a car. It's too bad just a little coaching could spell a different outcome/result....Just say'n
