In the first race of a round, you should get points if you began qualifying and get DCed before you can finish.
What if you made the first start of a second round that required a restart of the whole room, but failed to make the restart? That's what happened to me and I figured I wouldn't get points (and I didn't)

If you start a race that isn't completed and nobody is awarded points for it, why should you get points for that? The reason you get points for the race for starting qualifying is that if you get dc'd during qualifying, you can't reenter the race.

Just making sure, since I tried but wasn't able to rejoin before the start. But it is what it is.

Division 7 Race Report
Very good race night. No grid lock glitch, just a couple had to switch to another car then to the correct car to show it was the correct one. Just CMBeal disconnected. Congratulations to the winners. Thank you to all stewards, race recorders/uploaders, data recorders/uploaders. Stable connection.

Race Clean, Race SNAIL 👍

ANNOUNCEMENT

SNAIL CLUB RACING has entered Phase II

The following driver's invites failed for whatever reasons and will now need to send a GT6 Community message to SNAIL_Spec_Racing to have their invite processed. Sending the message in this fashion will provide administrators with the necessary PSN ID exactly, so that issue can be eliminated and other problems can be worked. The names below were taken straight from the PSN ID you registered with SNAIL when you initially joined. If you didn't enter it correctly at that time, that would be why it's incorrect below.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Tonight I started in the most crappy way possible. That damm Datsun decided to spin on the exit of the bad chicane after never done it on every practice race I made before!!!
But then came Spa and everything changed and grabbed my first win in D3 after a long hiatos.
The Martin also gave above expectations results so I'm definitely happy.
One last word to kadrek.... You're amazing dude.

REMINDER

If you believe that a driver exhibited poor racecraft or is guilty of any SNAIL OLR violation, please file a Racing Incident Report by 11pm Eastern / 8pm Pacific on Monday night. Be sure to follow the instructions precisely or your submission might not be addressed. If you're undecided on whether or not you should file an incident, please remember that clean racing is not only your right, it's also your responsibility and something that we all need to be accountable for.

Division 5

Many odd things were afoot this evening but the racing was absolutely fantastic! There were a few off the wall lag moments and at one point I spilled my picnic basket all over the sand trap. @CoachMK21 had a few connection gremlins that put him out at the end. It was a real shame as he was doing very well this evening. In spite of his connection issues, he managed to get the scores for the first 5 races (and should get shells for his work). It was really difficult to vote this time around because all of the combos were a really good time. Thanks to all of D5 for another awesome night of racing!!

Scores, votes and replays for D5 are all put to bed!
