A subie?Nope. It's a sedan. Might look like a short rear overhang because there is a trunk spoiler on it. It's a factory spoiler too.

How is the R-O-C Vote going?
Ford FocusAs you can see we got a little snow up here in our neck of woods last night.
My question is who can give me the first correct answer on what car is buried underneath all that snow.
Here's a hint...It's domestic!!!View attachment 308675View attachment 308675 Is it better to post as a thumbnail or full image?
Thanks look forward to some guesses.
An accord? To continue on what @singlepaddy posted earlier, have a guess at what car is hiding under the snow!
(This is an old pic from a big snowfall on Christmas Day 2008. I know, White Christmas in Vancouver, I'm not lying!)

Hi @Dragonwhisky , this was mine, watercooled stuff, very agressive buffalo, speedy, often backfire in high RPM and with this I crashed and broke my 2 legs and had a 3 month off...anyway big fun with the watercooled buffaloTBT,
One fine summer in the early '80s, rode one of these,
from the Southern California High Desert to Ohio and back. Almost killed myself on the way back falling asleep on the seat at 70mph or so on I15 in Utah. Mine had case guards + highway pegs and before we parted ways the following summer I adorned it with an adjustable back rest. I've got pictures of mine somewhere in my house. Before wife, kids, college loans and mortages. Just me, Suzi and the road.
Thanks! The lineup post has been updated with the chart until the banners are ready.
Well, my T300RS came in early! Thank you Fry's! I've spent a good part of the day driving with it, just did the GT86 TT with it and matched my best time I set with my G27.
I really like the wheel base itself. It feels stronger than the G27 (I turned FFB down from 8/9 where I had it on the G27 to 6/8 and I like it there quite a lot) and slightly more precise, but where it really shines is in dynamic range in it's response. Meaning, now the differences between the different kinds of feedback the car gives you are more obvious. A push in the front, or shifting too much weight, or the outside front tire not wanting to grip when you're trail braking too aggressively are more easily separated feelings with the T300RS than with the G27. The stronger motor seems to be the reason for this. It has more "headroom" so a strong signal feels strong and a weak FFB signal feels weak, where with the G27 the difference between the two are less obvious. It also can countersteer itself much more quickly which can take some getting used to if you are doing something where you would let the wheel slip through your hands like drifting or rally, but allows you to do it much more easily once you get used to it. I did not find that the wheel fights me when making very fast corrections, either. It is stronger but not overdamped like I have heard about the T500.
Those are easily the best things about the wheel.
However, I noticed some bad things as well. For one, if you've ever felt the hum or slight vibration of an electric motor that is struggling but not moving (like if you managed to get a drill bit stuck and the drill doesn't have enough power to back it out), the T300RS seems to have a little bit of that feeling coming through the wheel during times when the steering is at it's heaviest, turning the FFB up to 10 made this not just a felt vibration but an audible sound as well. (As well as making the steering way too heavy to be usable for anything.) I'm not sure if this vibration/sound is normal for the wheel or not since I haven't heard about this anywhere else, but with the FFB at a reasonable level it's not too annoying. Hopefully the motor lasts at least as long as the ones in the G27 have (2+ years and going strong).
The worst thing though, obviously.
The Pedals... The brake is possibly around as firm as a stock G27 pedal but not nearly as firm as my G27 Pedals with the GTEye spring mod, but if it was just a softer pedal I wouldn't mind them too much at all. Unfortunately, the pedals have a MASSIVE dead zone. When driving the Lotus Elan at Autumn Ring and trying to trail brake gently, as I roll off the brake pedal to what I feel like is half way, I realize that I'm no longer on the brake at all! Or even worse, some times I go to touch the brake lightly for weight shift or to scrub off some speed I didn't mean to carry, I'll hit the brake but it doesn't even register because I didn't push the pedal down far enough. The resistance of the pedal when you push it down starts a full 1/4 of the travel BEFORE the pedal actually starts sending a signal! I can't wait to get an adaptor so I can use my G27 Pedals again... However, for many people these pedals will be okay for 90% of situations, they just lack the responsiveness to be really competitive.
That's all I've got for now, folks!
#TBT - Most memorable trip(s)
1- The top one has to be my laps at Watkins Glen in our ChumpCar Volvo 940 Turbo. It was much more than just a race. It was a journey from 3 unusable cars to make 1 race car with my family.
2- My number 2 was several years ago my wife and 2 boys spent 10 days in the San Diego area, which is an awesome area. We took a trip to LegoLand one day and on the way back we took Highway 101, which is along the coast. It was a sunny day and the sunset was beautiful. It was one of the best drives I've been on. I have several pictures at home, but nothing with me. Maybe I'll remember to add one later.
So... after 10 days, whataya think? Anything new you've noticed that you didn't at first, good or bad?
It's all little things mostly, but the wheel is noisier than I expected (not noticeably quieter than the G27 even if it's probably sliiiightly quieter) and it's started making a new noise since the last time I wrote anything about it. It's hard to describe but it's sort of like a couple pieces of large grain sand being rolled around on plastic a few times when the wheel calibrates. It's not very loud, and I can't feel it in the wheel or hear it when driving, but it's annoying that it does it. It doesn't sound like grinding or anything too horrible for it. The weird thing is it's inconsistent, sometimes it only makes the noise spinning one direction, sometimes both. I think they could have done a little bit better on that for $400. Still works great when I'm racing so far though. (Also as I was writing this I noticed to scroll down though the car list I had to push the d-pad down button until it clicked, and then also a little harder than that, or it wouldn't register. Awesome.)
Another thing is the FFB adjustment sliders in GT6 make much more noticeable changes than with the G27, to the point where there might not be one ideal way to set the T300 for every car, where with the G27 for me it was basically set it and forget it. That can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Messing around with settings is not something everyone wants to do.
To sum it up, still think the G27 is a better value for your money and easier to use, but the T300 base is a little more capable (but not better built), and has more modern features and compatibility (but with unproven/questionable reliability). Also, the fact that you can use multiple different wheel rims/pedal sets/shifters with the T300 base makes it more flexible if your budget allows. Get some different pedals for it at least, I got way faster when I got my G27 pedals hooked back up with an adapter and got used to them again. I'm not sure the T3PA pedals will be good enough though, I heard they also had dead-zone problems. Hopefully thrustmaster will do something about that before long.
When does practice start?
