To whoever suggested doing Quick Match events to make money, thank you. The Renault Sport Trophy one-make gives a little over 400K for a 6 minute race. And every once in awhile you get a good driver to race against instead of an easy win against casuals that can't drive or try to attack you.

Sweet... tomorrow will be my 34th anniversary with my Valentine..
You must have found an exquisitely practical lady, or, she was sleeping when you all set the date of your union ;) :P. It's good for you though. You get to wrap an Anniversary present up with a Valentine's day gift, or vice versa. Tell the wife I said Hi Major, and, she can smack me later. Hopefully, I'll remember why when she does.

Quick Reference Guide for Banner Pictures

The pictures can be any size, but it is better to set the photo mode to 16:9 (Wide Angle). I "crop" them to a 2:1 size ratio so that there are no distortions and so that the picture can fit the banner.

This picture meets the requirements (@TomMang_68 ) Enough space around the car for the information and logos. The photographer chose a high shuttespeed to have a sharp background

In this picture the car on the right is too close to the picture boundary(@DCschwinn ). The rest of the picture is good as it provides a good contrast for the text.

The following is a great picture(@RobbiefromBC ), but unfortunately there is not enough room at the bottom of the picture. The track information will be on the the car. Because of the lack of space at the bottom, I had to crop the top off and took out the identification marks for the track. It also would have been better to have the original photo at a 16:9 ratio.

Hope it helps. Let the pictures come.....

One of the most important rules to photography and composition is something everyone should think about for banner pics.

The rule of thirds. On your image, draw 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines as if it were a tic-tac-toe board, dividing the image into thirds, so 9 equal sections. Your subject should land on one of the intersections. Having the subject right in the center isn't as appealing as on one of the intersections, and it keeps the subject away from the edges of the photo.

I've been using this technique with every photo I take, GT6 and real life. I love having that grid over my screen when trying to line up a shot, making sure it's level and what not.

In real life, that would be the slowest car chase ever.....

I use it all the time as well. IMO, it's one of the most important rules to photography. There are several others, but they aren't quite as important for the banner pics.

One other thing I'd mention, is try not to fill too much of the image with the car. Most of the images posted here don't have to worry about that, the spacing is pretty good, but I think it's still worth mentioning.
