I would love to be in this club

@Its_katie

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Thank you Birdie for uploading the replays after that strange disconnected from lobby server that happened to me during qualifying for the first race first round but i was ok for the rest of the night. Was a lot of fun in D3 last night.
If it had of been later in the night then yeah I would have just uploaded the one replay, but since it was the very first race of the night it just made more sense to me to upload all of them for the night to keep them as a nice neat packet :) and no problem that's why I'm back up of every one :)

Just for the gee whiz and cuz I fiddle with spreadsheets in my spare time.

Pack racing room is open. Eunos Roadster '89 at Trial Mountain Reverse
1472 4711 0038 4891 2775

Cancelled for the night since no one showed up. I understand with it hotter and also GT Sport coming out in November and more people who play PCars now on PS4, less and less have shown up to play in Pack Racing. I will always host future pack racing events in the future, just cancelled for tonight since no one showed up.

I thought about it this morning, then got busy. I'll shoot for next week though. Also, do you think changing up the car might help?

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '92 (Sports: Soft) at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit (5 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @WIDEeyedDRIVR wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @WIDEeyedDRIVR has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 3 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D3 drivers from Sunday night start thinking about combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post it if/when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @WIDEeyedDRIVR is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Peugeot 908 HDi FAP Base Model '10 (Racing: Medium) at Cape Ring (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Ness gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @JamCar0ne so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Track Selection Guidelines
See Section 3.1 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines
.

Quick heads up, @Ness. You've already won Prize B this month, so if you choose Prize B again, your division mates in D1 will get to make suggestions for the Prize. However, if you opt for Prize C, you'll get to make the choice entirely on your own since you haven't won that prize yet this month.

@JamCarOne, you've already won both Prize B and Prize C this month so you'll be a repeat winner regardless of which Prize @Ness leaves you with. Therefore, your division mates in D4 will be getting to make suggestions no matter what. We'll just have to wait to see if the suggestions will be for the car or for the track.

What if prize suggestion are done in the division thread to keep thing separate then you gather all the post into a neat post for the main threads?

Prize Selection Instructions

If you raced in D3 this week, you have the right to make one, and only one, suggestion for prize A.

All suggestions must be made by posing them in the main SNAIL thread. Suggestions posted anywhere else will be ignored.

Only make one suggestion. Multiple suggestions will get all of your suggestions thrown out.

Make sure you use the entire track and car name. If there is any doubt as to what you are choosing, your suggestion will be thrown out.

Do not edit your post to change your suggestion. Doing so will get your suggestion thrown out. Example: If you post Grand Valley for a track and then edit your post to Grand Valley Reverse, you have changed your suggestion and it will be thrown out. Proofread before you post. Spelling corrections are allowed as long as it doesn't change the meaning of the post.

It is strongly suggested that you stick to text only when making a suggestion. The posts are quoted and grouped and pictures or other images don't always show up the best once they are quoted.

You will all have until 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday July 19 to make your suggestion. At that time, @WIDEeyedDRIVR will choose from the suggestions for prize A.

@TomMang_68 @Drewspeed @Grandpa Money @Raw10_2u @DesertPenguin09 @racingchamp30 @Die_Birdy_Die @Engmatic1 @TEX36

Prize Selection Instructions

If you raced in D4 this week, you have the right to make one, and only one, vote for prize C - Freeze the car or the track.

All votes must be made by posting them in the main SNAIL thread. Votes posted anywhere else will be ignored.

Only make one vote. Multiple votes will get all of your votes thrown out.

Make sure you clearly state your division (D4) and either Freeze Car or Freeze Track.

Do not edit your post to change your vote. Doing so will get your vote thrown out.

You will all have until 11:59 PM ET on Tuesday July 19 to make your vote. At that time, @Ness will be able to choose the opposite portion of the combo.

Thanks coach. To clarify, this isn't really a suggestion process as much as it is a vote. If a majority is reached before the deadline, voting will close and we will move on in the process.
