Jazz/Joe, please try the F10 in STOCK trim before picking it! When I did my first couple of laps for the WRS it was horrible stock... The diff is way too tight, especially on the over-run.

i'm kinda because of the idea i'm gonna post here, thing is, I would like to iniciate a Seasonal S.N.A.I.L. Event.

I have develop the idea for over two weeks, and I will let you know all things I have setle up until now. I need to know three things, first how many of you would be intrested in participate, how can I improve the idea, and who can help me with some things. (let you know which are those things later) 👍

Let's begin.

Lets Introduce the Seasonal S.N.A.I.L. X Event.

let's say you are a ProDriver, (or you think you are ) and you have achieved all challenges avaliable, and of course, you're a clean driver... Well, I invite you to put your abilities to the maximum challenge, a Seasonal Championship with 12 races, in extreme conditions, but of course, to make it a real challenge, you need a challenging car, so the car you will be driving, it will be a Redbull Prototype (is open do discuss wich model, but must be a unique model for all drivers).

I'm thinking in this seasonal event to be a way to truly test your driver skills, we all know that there is a huge difference driving in GT5 offline and online, we know our best races have been online, so, everything we know about racing, it will be needed to win.

Thing's we have learn racing with the better league (as I think it is) of GT Planet are needed in order to achieve the goal with this car, because you need to know when to break, when to overtake, you need to be one with the car. That is the only way to win, and not to cause the ultimate crash

but be carefull this car, ain't a easy drive. At the minimal mistake you will get out of track, and maybe, take others out with you.

but there will be a nice reward, to those who dare to achieve the maximum challenge.​

Regulations for this Div.

Boost: Off
Visible Damage: Off
Mechanical Damage: Off
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Grip Reduction: Real
Vehicle Tuning: If you can tune this beast, feel free to do so.
Driving Aids: Only ABS allowed.
Tire Restrictions: Racing (compound at your will)
Off course, clean drive. (this one is specially difficult, because the car is too fast, but it can be done) SNAIL Penalization System.
(Car regulations will be posted, when we know the exact Redbull Model)

Track selection:
I've selected the more challenging tracks to be raced with this care, but it can be done. we will be racing in night sometimes, and with heavy rain in other tracks. this will take you to the edge of your driving.

It will be two races per night, in the same track, te first one will have a 5min pole position, and the second race will be run with reversed grid.

At the end of the seasonal event, we will have a champion Obiously

Only for cat and mouse I think...the issue with racing on dirt/snow would be the lack of vision I reckon.

Well in the freak chance that in a week where my house situation allows me to compete and I somehow get Prize A, I guess I know what kind of track to pick . Also, stock Eagle Talon's on Kart Space I with no aids including ABS is really fun. Just thought I would put that out there in case a winner doesn't have an idea for a combo and would like one.

👍 So long as it's tested first I'm in. Folks are going to have to practice with drafting set to on, these things go quick in the draft and your braking markers go out to lunch

Speaking of which, the window to post a complaint has closed. There have been complaints made, but none have affected the prize winners, so congrats to them, and you can now claim your prizes.

The final points tallies and standings will be posted tomorrow night (I hope) by someone other than me. I'm out of town for three days starting tomorrow morning and most, if not all, of my S.N.A.I.L. activities will be put on hold.

If an F10, or any formula car gets picked, I will be sitting out two races. I refuse to try and drive that thing with a controller.

Some of the fastest F1 drivers are ds3 users. The only disadvantage would be tire wear in the course of an doing an hour long race.


Following (drafting) an F1 is very difficult. Definitely pull out of the draft or brake very early for corners.

...and yes it takes a bit of practice just like every other combo. Heck, I found the BMW at Rome/r much more difficult than SPEC F10 at Spa.

Actually Toscana works pretty well. G Trail does too if not for the extreme braking on the downhill section. I was Seriously considering it today lol.

I actually got pretty fast with FGT using the DS3 before I got my wheel. The ability to go lock-to-lock almost instantly (make sure you turn the controller sensitivity up) can almost make up for the disadvantages. Still, I wouldn't go back
