Adjustments will be made to the lobby settings in relation to KERS/DRS/Boost or whatever it's called before it becomes necessary. This feature was available on select cars in GT6 so the use of the feature, as it is a stock feature of the car, will be allowed in SNAIL.

We are not going to have the brake balance debate again as it always ends up in the same place.

Just to be sure i understand correctly the rules. Is the breaking balance allowed to be adjusted or not? Please advise to ávoid any penalty and what about rear/front power at rally cars?

This is an exact copy of the portion of the OLR that answers your question.

Definition of Tuning Prohibited

Tuning Prohibited in SNAIL means that you are not allowed to do anything to the car that changes it's performance in any way, shape, or form.

Below is a list of what you are allowed, or required, to do:

1. Change tires (may be required depending on the car)
2. Change wheels. Different sizes are acceptable.
3. Change the appearance of the car using the livery editor.

You may not adjust any other setting or replace / upgrade any other part of the car. If what you are thinking about doing to you car is not in the above list, don't do it. Only the 3 items listed above are allowed under SNAIL rules.

May I propose:
Formula 1 is running Catalunya the weekend of May 12-14

How many folks would be interested in a parallel event in running the new SF19 on that same weekend?
Practice on Friday night
Qualifying laps prior to the race on Saturday night.

Not under a SNAIL Banner, just an opportunity to “Have a Go” and experience a similar event.

Just wondering.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - VOLKSWAGEN SCIROCCO GR.4 (SS) at Autopolis International Racing Course - 16:00 Cloudy (5 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Herimopp89 wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @Herimopp89 has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 2 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D2 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @Herimopp89 is confirmed as the Prize A winner).
The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - JAGUAR F-TYPE GR.4 (SS) at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix - 16:30 Clear (5 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Bologna_Duc gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.
Prize C goes to @gulfvet67 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).
IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

View media item 2540This week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!
The IR Submission Form is now closed.
We have 9 incidents on file. Target deadline for reviews is NLT 10PM Eastern on Friday, April 5, 2019.

@Herimopp89 @Bologna_Duc @gulfvet67 will be included in a conversation in the next couple of minutes that will contain instructions and deadlines. As mentioned above, Herimopp89 is a repeat winner of Prize A so that prize will turn over to a suggestion and selection process.

If you raced in D2 on Sunday, you get to suggest one, and only one, combo for Prize A.
  • You must make your suggestion by posting in this thread.
  • You must make only one suggestion.
  • You must be clear in the naming of the car. and track. Remember that not stating a time of day means default time.
  • You must not edit your post to change any element of your selection. Edits for spelling are OK as long as it doesn't change the suggestion.
  • Deadline to make a suggestion will be 3PM ET on Wednesday. At that time, Herimopp89 will be clear to make his selection from the suggestions.
  • Failure to follow any of these rules, or choosing a car or track that is not eligible, will result in your suggestion being disallowed and you will not get a second suggestion.
Please remember that you are not voting on a car that someone else suggests. This is your chance to be original and have your input heard.
Please also refrain from adding large pictures to your suggestion. They just have to be deleted when all suggestions are gathered and quoted.

Reminder that the Super Formula cars are not cleared for use in SNAIL yet.

@socalnatv @llNovall @Grandpa Money @soundtiger95 @Rob Brown @DublDee @Kgffy @krusty9rs @Nascarcory @Jw_wk1010 @Rogue Clone

All right. I looked for cars that we haven't raced yet according to the spreadsheet. Now I'm gonna pass the buck.

Two cars are presented in two posts that follow this one.* The post with the most likes by Thursday 5pm ET is what we race on Sunday.

*thought I'd try this approach to avoid cluttering the thread with everyone's reply.

@Herimopp89 kindly reminded me that cars have to come from the Brand Lobby. I forgot that. Second post updated accordingly.

Or like this post if you'd rather have this car at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix - 16:30 Clear.

PRIZE B: Tesla Model S '12
422hp, 4449lb
SM tires (if I did the calculation correct for Model X cars)
92,000Cr
2:02 after a few laps

Seeing as the Subaru isn't available to buy from.the marketplace I believe it makes it ineligible to race with...so I guess that leaves the McLaren

Edit: not trying to cause problems or issues I just know that we cant choose mileage cars for SNAIL...now on the other hand for the snail challenge that @Neutty is putting together we are allowed to so buy them up

I’d be interested. Just have to work out the logistics.

I am not great with the formula cars, but it sounds fun. Plus, there’s a turbo boost (or whatever) button!
