Here is my input on the tire discussion. I worked on this a while back after PD rolled out a few updates that helped tire grip on RWD cars. My main goal was to put as many street cars on street tires as possible before the inevitable need to switch to racing tires. I do not recall how much testing I did with high powered street cars to know how close the switch over points are. But I'm thinking they are fairly close. The PP chart is only for non-Group cars.
I added Comfort Soft tires for cars under 300PP only because the few cars in this PP range are more fun to drive on CS tires.
Oh yeah.. and the PP seems to change with every update. So doing a PP based chart will always have that variable to contend with. A wider PP range per tire compound seems more logical. Especially as more cars are added to the game where their PP is calculated differently than how PP was calculated for cars at release. And by no means am I suggesting anyone go through and update car PP information. It's pointless to do so as it will continue to change with every update.
