Dude, really?

What do you mean by that, and for the record, I would not personally do this, nor would I expect others in SNAIL to do this and expect SNAIL leaders to make sure this doesn't happen. But just in case, I brought the possible problem up.

I second that

Love this idea. Very convenient for people who dont have alot of color chips they need to have the same colors each week. Driftin approves once again!
Awesome, I got a group page started, it will be just for us snails. I'll add you guys and get somethings set up a little later.

I'm asking a question that I hope won't spur anyone on because most people are honorable. And that would be the topic of hybrids, on normal Sunday nights and practice night the answer would be clear, but for and Thursdays, what would stop someone bringing a hybrid into a lobby. As long as only the HP and PP are affected and no other parts added, theoretically, it wouldn't be tuned, I think. I have a number of hybrids that could fit the bill for this week (but as always I cannot participate, nor would I "cheat" as such). I would like this to be checked out. Just as a curiosity.

Dude, really?

That's going to be the general consensus here. Outside of the fact that this is a mostly tune prohibited league, we definitely will not be doing things against any of the various TOA that we follow when on the PSN and in the gt5 game. Hacked cars and the SNAIL environment do not gel man.
Now that said. What is the point of a hacked car aside from cheating? On a programmer hacker side of it, I see the merit. I've even pondered the idea of creating a fake sony server to run a virtual home PSN network. Then I really think about it. :boggled: That said, for research, messing around, programmer side of things I get the idea of hacking a car. But not at all in any actual racing.

So your asking what is being done to ensure no hacked cars are being used?

Well at this point we got a good idea of what people can run. If someone that wasn't winning does so with a major improvement. Then obviously they should be forced to pick a car from the recommended garage and battle the other top 4 racers to prove their worth. :)

Get caught cheating and it should be a permanent vacation from SNAIL. As well GTP.

Sounds good, and that was exactly what I was asking. I also don't think tht anyone that participates in SNAIL events would cheat.

Upon further review, there's one section of that list in particular that stands out:
  • Team Builder
  • Club Builder
  • Coloring / Livery Editor
I guess the team in charge of those features really dropped the ball. 👎:ouch:

I'm not sure what the Team Builder and Club Builder would have entailed, but it'd nice to know what we're missing. On the other hand, the Livery Editor is a feature that we know exactly what we're missing out on. The Forza franchise has made sure of that! :irked:
I'm pretty sure this is why the ps4's first racing game, drive club, is supposed to be based on club and team driving

That was... Unexpectedly bad.

I had some idea that Sony was pretty vigorous about pursuing, or at least prosecuting, hacking?

I sure hope so....

All they do is put there save game on a thumb drive and plug it into their computer, and use their computer to change the coding of a car in the game. If you hear of someone hacking a game that's pretty much always how they do it. Sony does all they can to protect against hacking, but where there's a will there's a way

Not to be a self promoter, but if anyone is interested in a Saturday night league, I advise you to read my post in the S.P.E.C. Thread. Trying to get more drivers for the Saturday nights. Anyone can join. All you need is a untuned Camaro RM 10

I think the McLaren is allergic to grass....

Speaking of which please tell me it won't be voted off for at least two weeks. I've been sick for two weeks and next week I'm going to be out of town. I'm afraid that the ultimate fun-mobile is going to be voted off before I can race it :(

That car is a blast stock. Wish I had time on Saturdays. They have been dedicated to the GF.

I just got home from work..was very depressed and jealous that everyone was home racing :grumpy:

A bad night of SNAIL Spec racing is better that a good night at work. Hope you guys had fun!

Last night had a lot of great races in all of the combos, not having a broken in vette was definitely a challenge to get past people especially when I could barely keep up with them in slipstream, I was very surprised I got pole.
The F1's starts were just stupid, cars spinning left and right, crashes everywhere, it was almost certain that if you were put into a spin, you were not getting back into the race.
