This is getting downright creepy.

It's like D1 is a trophy that he feels he has been denied. Sonething he has been willing to kill someone for.

Now it's gone and he is insane with rage.

D1 is not a trophy or an ideal or nirvana. It's just another bunch of guys driving around in circles. Some are respected and some aren't. Just like every other division. You are looking for validation from the masses, you want to see your name on that roster so bad that you keep desperately posting here after being kicked out.

I "made it" to D1 but found out quickly that it's not the division number that determines race craft and mutual driver respect, its the individual.

Snail is like a woman who has broken up with you for all sorts of valid reasons. You won't take no for an answer and are now trying to grab her and shake some sense into her.

She needs to get a restraining order methinks.
 
Coach, if you really want an explanation as to what the stewards saw (and not just gripe on the forum), you need to follow the proper procedure and PM your division steward and you will get an overview of the stewards findings.

Incorrect. No one is denying anything. You were given a clear set of regulations for your participation in SNAIL. Your duplicitous behavior should have been reason enough to ban you permanently, but you were allowed to continue racing with us anyway. That was a mistake. Lesson learned. Move on.

For my clarification and my clarification only, is what's demonstrated in that video a legal maneuver? If I'm on a long straight and someone gets a run off the previous corner better than I, am I allowed to run him down to the grass/wall to the inside?

04: Rules Governing Car Contact:

A:
Contacts and collisions must be avoided at all costs.

B:
Pushing other cars in turns or pushing them off the track is strictly prohibited.

C:
Leaning on other cars is strictly prohibited in any situation.

05: Running into the car ahead of you:

A:
The behind driver must take all necessary care and responsibility not to run into an ahead driver.

C:
...The ahead driver IS entitled to be slower or use longer and earlier braking zones than others. They are also entitled to turn in earlier or later and/or apex earlier or later.

07: Corner Rights:
B:
You must establish substantial overlap with the car ahead before they reach the corner’s turn-in point to have the right to drive up their inside, or to expect them to leave inside room for you. At least the front of your car should be up to the driver’s position in the ahead car. The ahead driver has the right to be fully committed to the racing line of their choice without any interference if there was no substantial overlap before he turned in.

D:
The turn in point is the point at which the leading car begins their turn into the corner–this may vary from the point at which you turn into the corner.

9: Defensive Driving:

A:
Leading cars have the right to choose their own line down a straight. They can change their racing line once while driving down a straight (Move from the outside line to the inside, or vice versa). As they approach the next corner, they can return to the racing line of their choice. However, they are not allowed to change their line when the behind driver is directly behind and changes his line to try and make a pass. If your movement causes an accident, you are responsible.

B:
Leading cars have the right to take their line of choice through corners. I.e. they may drive a defensive line around the inside of a corner to protect their position, thereby forcing an attacking driver to try to pass around the outside. This is not blocking and is part of normal racing etiquette. In fact, apart from the restrictions of rule 10:A, a leading driver can drive any line which they feel is the most inconvenient for any following car to try to pass them.

Things Are Looking A Little Bleak For Sunday. Thrustmaster Problems :indiff::ill::irked: I Really Don't Wanna Miss My First Sunday Ever. This Is Also Why I Wasn't In Practice.

You are expected to compete in a fair and honest manner. Fair and honest means according to the S.N.A.I.L. online racing rules, not according to your own interpretation of fair and honest.

I did and never got a reply. I did it exactly per the instructions. I filed about the maneuver I have been discussing on this thread.

And I am not in a rage. I am disappointed that I have a legitimate complaint filed about an illegal move and it has not been addressed. I have been extremely descriptive about it here. And Qwietstorm is asking about it too.

I am also disappointed about the ban yes. In my last thread (i think) I gave my side as to what I believe is a misrepresentation of aggressive. I don't feel i have been driving aggressively. The stewards see otherwise.

However, I will continue to race in practices like last night. It was a great time. Zero issues and close racing. Especially at Spa with iroquois and chatva. Thanks guys, it was fun. What's funny is that a driver or two who were never even close to aggressive showed some real intensity and risky (agressive) moves. That is not a negative, just hard racing, but could be interpreted as aggressive if shown on replay.

No, you have not PM'd your division steward and asked for an explanation as to why you are being assessed a penalty based on the complaint you filed. I suggest you do so and take any further discussion of the issue off of the main forum and into private.

For general knowledge. Any driver who files a complaint is asking for review of the incident in question. Sometimes, the driver who files the complaint is actually found to be the guilty party. It happens more often then you would think.

Hey Coach read Defensive driving: A and B. Thats what I saw on the replay, nothing more, he know this rule and he used on you. This conversation took all the tread till this morning. Its not good Coach, please stop it and pm's stewards only. Patience , relax have a soda and stop think about that.
