Does anyone happen to have a working link for the 2013 GT Academy online rankings? The page that used to have it doesn't seem to load them for me. I've tried 4 different browser types (IE, Firefox, Chrome & Safari), but none seem to work. This is the page I'm trying to load. Thanks.

I think they got taken down. I've been trying to find a lot of you fools through last years rankings and it wouldnt load for me either.

I am testing the waters to find a new racing league to be a part of. I currently run in the WRS races, but I am starting to find out that I am too slow to compete in that league and I am looking for a place to go for slower drivers? If someone could help me out here, that would be swell.

Welcome Buddy :cheers:. I'm sure you will fit well into a division here.

CPU is pretty important on iRacing. I'd get something decent here. As well if running single screen you can get by with a $150-$200 GPU. So spending roughly $400 on these two items will allow you to run some decent graphic options at 60+ FPS.

I'd also go with 8g of ram. If you shop you can get free ram with purchase of GPU or CPU at newegg.

I have sent friend requests out to everyone in D7, it looks like I will be hosting tonight. I run the room as friends only. That means I need responses from everyone by 8:45pm. Tonight we will be pressed for time, everyone needs to be on time and be ready to go at 9:30pm sharp.

Found the link for hardware requirements.
Some interesting info there. Such as a minimum internet speed of 56k, and do you guys find many people actually racing using a tablet? I know you can set them for simulating gauges and the such, but it says you can race using one like a wheel. Cant imagine iRacing handling all that neat using one of those.
I just finished drawing up plans for the man cave, Once I get the material budget approval from the wife I'll be building quite the nice setup.

Go ahead and follow the link in my signature block below. Follow the instructions there. It might be a good idea to check who's in your division as they are not up to date on the spreadsheet.

The general policy of the stewards, when it's plain that network latency, aka lag, is what caused an incident, regardless of who's car caused it, is to treat it as a mechanical failure, which technically it is, and to assess no penalties in those cases. When a driver is seen to be extraordinarily lagging, as was seen on more than one replay from last Sunday, and does nothing about it, or continues to race, with catastrophic latency and packet loss, present and visible to others, it violates the following rule of the SNAIL OLR;

Continuing to drive with issues, such as what was witnessed by the stewards, especially if you've been made aware of such, is irresponsible and inconsiderate. To all SNAILs, sometimes, when a technical issue such as these is present, it's better to call it a night, make an effort to improve/repair the issue and try it again another day.

The Polyphony Digital Gran Turismo 6 Replay Lottery appears to have turned off the lights and shut it's doors. Thankfully.

Below are the results of the 20 incidents the stewards reviewed.

These changes affect the final standings.
Full final results can be found here. @zer05ive & @kcheeb .The results and director's documents have been updated with the penalties assessed.
***If you were penalized and would like further explanation regarding the incident, PM your Division Steward and they will let you know what the stewards saw and our opinions on it.***
Thanks to the stewards for completing this week's reviews! Now that the Allen Berg Racing Schools Challenge is complete, we're going to be determining the winner soon. And since the winner will be learning from a former Formula 1 driver, I think it's only fitting that we use next weekend's season opening Australian Grand Prix to determine the winner. Those who's been around a while know what that means, but more details will be released in the coming days.

In the meantime, I'm looking for post #50640 and post #50641 so that I can officially announce our next prize contest (which starts TONIGHT!!)

@Grifimus,
I am presuming that by posting this info you would like to join. Yes? If so, here is what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L. :cheers:

@GTP_DeathStar,
We have 9 Divisions in which to race. You'll have a place to go.
Thanks for your interest!

@OmegaDefiance,
I'm not the Alpha nor the Omega but you're invited!

@K1utch I ended up getting into the high 24's with @elsbury2 if that helps any... But knowing me, I'll probably qualify well and botch the first few corners and end up playing catch-up the whole time

Thank you Stewards for getting the Incident Reviews done.

The Allen Berg Racing Schools Challenge points are now up to date for the season.

Please check to make sure your totals are correct. I have given them the once over, but things can happen :scared:

You have until 10:00 P.M. EDT Tuesday evening to notify me. At that time the current points will be locked in and the prize process will commence.

Sim racing product discounts for S.N.A.I.L. members:

GranStand is offering a 10% discount to all S.N.A.I.L.s and a 15% Discount to members of Team S.N.A.I.L.

Take advantage of being a S.N.A.I.L. ;)

S.N.A.I.L. Data Note. The Results Document was getting unresponsive and packed to the rafters. So I had to spin the Power Rankings off to their own Document.

Team S.N.A.I.L. Update
(Re-Post)

This is the latest info for key League night positions. As you can see, there are several roles that will need to be addressed before tomorrow. As always, all Team members should check the roster and make sure I have everyone in the proper place. Anyone else that would be interested in helping your division and the League should have a look as well. Any changes or additions. please PM me as soon as you can so I can make the appropriate changes. The West Coast division is not listed as they are not a part of the P & R process. Thank you all in advance! (Thanks for the tip off @Skills !!)
