And so begins another season and another year for SNAIL. D2 has become crazy intense to the point of almost insane! One small slip and you're swallowed up by almost the entire field.... nuts! A very good turn out for the season opener as well. Let's hops the numbers remain that way and the battles last throughout the season. Thanks D2!

On a personal note I'd like offer up a virtual  for my buddy @Xradkins. If we lived closer I'd buy you a real one. Definitely one of my top racing moments in my time here in SNAIL. Thanks for making me work so hard for that spot!

Thanks SNAIL!

Congrats to @Ricky Wilson for taking the win for the night! 👍

Nice! Hopefully something softer that can manage the curbing without the need for D1 talent. :)
Thats why I was hoping for Prize A cause I had a good combo but thats not happening now. Made made feel like I didn't prove anything because I didn't get prize A.

Sure , fun every now and then , but nothing beats racing in a league of clean snail racers without a boost aid to keep me close to the leader
Ya, to each his own. Don't get me wrong, i like racing in the league as well, but during a race when a car,(usually me), goes off the track i spend the rest of that race driving by myself. Yawn. At least with the new boost racing, if I screw up, I can catch the tail end of the pack, but that's it, boost only gets you to the back of the pack. To get back to the front still requires skill,(and muscle). For a guy like me who doesn't live in front of his PS3, when I do turn it on, I want some fun and hilarity. At my age, 59, I find the league too serious...that's ok though....to each his own.
I find your attitude towards boost racing a lttle snotty. Why are there so many higher division guys partaking in this? Because it's fun, that's it, that's all. Don't knock it till you try it.... We don't even keep a score anymore, and the laughing at the end of each race is worth the price of admission. IR's, hah none filed.......ever.
This is also the best practice for the league, it teaches you how to race around and with a "pack" of cars, which I find the league is totally lacking.
Now.....about those controllers.........

You just stated what I stated. I asked why.
Maybe it's part of history. In GT5 you had to do engine break-in that increased the pp overtime before it started to deteriorate again. So, you could have a car that is at 499 pp after oil change, but after you have driven a bit it could be going up to 502 or so. Therefore it made sense to use the dealership pp. In GT6 there is no engine break-in.

Fair enough. Here's some pics for the banner. The RUF never looked this good in GT5. So much improvement, should have gone all the way and made it Premium.

I agree that boost racing is good practice. IMO it's not good "racing" in all scenarios. It seems the racing it provides it heavily dependent on the track. Boost seems to make it more difficult to set somebody up because sometimes it's literally impossible to build a gap. I was very aggravated at inner cape not too long ago for this reason. I respect the concept, but it's not my cup if tea for racing. If I could wrap my head around it being "practice" I could enjoy it, but if there's a lap count, I'm racing.

Sorry, hadn't had any coffee yet and misread. Dealership PP is used mainly because it's easy to look up and verify without having the car in your garage and not being sure if it has parts or a fresh oil change. It's a constant number that never changes so it works to base our tire selection on that constant number.

Okay. It just happened to be one of the cars that crosses into a different section after oil change. I haven't done enough testing to see if Sport Mediums are a handful or not.

Boost I hate it might make close racing but it feels like the brakes don't work it feels like the boost keeps pulling you. The other guy said you go off track your racing by your self that's just racing stay on track and you be just fine.
