Yea ive noticed that about you paddy lol. you ever notice what happens when i get my hands on a FWDI agree totally with you on that one.
I don't seem to do very well with the slow plodding 4 cyl cars...I just bring my dog along so he can stick his head out the window.
I don't do well in the full on race cars either, but for some reason give me a high horsepower rear wheel drive car that's a little tail happy like that Ruff or the Aston or a Corvette, then I seem to get better results.
Different strokes for different folks as they say.
Bro, he has so many good oes im surprised you didnt already startsaving themIf I could go back in time to when @Nail-27 started racing with SNAIL, I would have kept a running list of my favorite "Nailisms, or "Nedisms".
This one is a beauty:

Thank you.
We do have the old McLaren F1 race cars from 94 and 95. The one I mention on my post is the way more recent MP4-12C.We have the mclaren race car, although your picture looks like '10 models and our Mclaren racecar models are older I think.
So, where did the sheep fetish come from?Jim Clark and his Lotus. In 1965 (lived in the UK then), my dad took me with him to the British F1 at Silverstone. I don't remember much from the race, I was five, except the noise and that green car! After the race, my dad bought me a Corgi F1 Lotus race car. I remember that thing never left my hands when I was at home. Wish I still had it today. Guess this explains my love of all things F1.
Plus my dad had a Mini-Cooper S (the family car!) and a bugeyed Sprite, I'm sure they helped in molding my curiosity for 4 wheels.

Unfortunately, I don't have much of a story at all. I don't come from a family of racers or even fans of racing or cars in general. Heck, I don't even know my father. I always admired sports cars as a kid but wasn't familiar with them, and really didn't see many in my "below average income" neighborhoods. I do recall being fond of C4 Corvettes as they were few and far between and the most exotic thing I'd really ever see.
Best one yet Dirt, my Enigma machine is working overtime to figure this one out.Nothing but 410 sprintcars and where I group there was like ten dirt cars in my neighbor hood and the track was three blocks from my house so I group up at the track. nothing like dirt track racing like I said before nascar is going to be all dirt drivers someday. they just picked up rico that won the chille bowl last sunday and he won the king of cali and he is best friends with kyle Larson another dirt driver
Throwback Thursday.
First car that took your breath away....below is a rare breed of cat....a Lotus BRM H-16 (two 1.5 litre V-8s joined at the crank...so to speak)...Jimmy Clark up. My first ever race.
He won when Lorenzo Bandini's Ferrari V-12 '66 blew up. But I had no idea what was going on only that I LOVED IT. I watched 6 more GPs at the Glen and another 30 or so all over the world but this was The Car, The Driver, The Track. I loved my '65 Mustang ( Ivy Green, Black Vinyl Roof, no scoop but pin stripe instead ) but it was....transportation.
Oh yea...that was the ONLY win for the BRM H-16 anywhere in any car. The next year Colin Chapman and Len Terry introduced the world to the Lotus 49 and the DFV Cosworth V-8 and life in F1 was forever changed.
Below is a picture taken by the photographer I was standing next to...top of the esses...a creative race fan will ALWAYS out smart Security and Track Marshals.

I was hoping to join for last week's races, but I believe I posted my request in the wrong place (I put it http://www.snailracing.org/ .) So, maybe posting here may get a better response. My PSN username is F8T0RQUE360 (note the zero in t0rque), hope to see an invite to the club soon!

Awesome job Coach, I'm just about to financially get into Karting next month too. Just sourcing competitive 125 shifters at the moment. We have an awesome track in Grand Junction, on the Colorado, Utah border. 1.3 miles. They've held the Nationals there a few times.Just got back from karting, so I'm not going to make practice tonight. Have fun guys.
Thanks! This has been posted on the lineup post until we have some pics/banners. 👍View attachment 296143 Here is the preliminary settings for tonight. The lotus is on the 12 minute mark for race duration.
