The connection issues last night may have been nothing more than authentication server saturation. It should moderate the farther we get from the maintenance date and folks logging in to see if there are game updates.

So, 3 maintenance periods in 2 weeks and no content updates? I ain't countin' VGTs as content, even if, by definition, they are. Color me confounded.
see my previous post about GT and instant gratification. Give it a week or two. GT5 spec II took about that long to hit after two similar maintenance periods.

Geez Rally, what's up with you?

This is the year 2015 man. ;) :P

i think im getting to an age where i cant be bothered to be rushed. As such, i wouldnt feel right rushing them. Not that PD appears particularly rushed.
That said, i put the game down months ago. I'm only now sitting down to play to test my rig. If the CM makes it some time soon. I may, by coincidence, have lined up that bit of work with the CM release and will probably be pulled back into playing. If its not released any time soon, or it is complete crap just means I'll be spending more time on war thunder or finally getting into Star Citizen. This was the main reason I revamped the ol cockpit anyway.
But, I guess if I were still vested in GT, my feelings would probably mirror yours.

Boom boom boom , let me hear you say way-yo ho ohhh...
It's thursday and even though a day or 2 late , here is my recap of sunday night's race.

First things first, I want to thank @JamCar0ne for hosting and being Data Specialist for the night and also @Raw10_2u for uploading replays and helping me with images for C1 highlight reel. There were 9 drivers present and what a night of racing it was.

The TOP DOGS were absent which gave me the chance to reach my first overall win. That being said I would like to thank TEAM ORANGE MANGO [T.O.M] for practicing with me and hep and english SNAIL come out on top of an all american field on Sunday. I felt like mouse amongst cats hehe.

So without further delay, ARE YOU REAAADY?

C1 IMAGES BY @Raw10_2u . Thanks buddy looking forward to our next project together. I had to use my sound engineering skilss to edit this song as there was waaay to much foul and explicit language. For the HipHop and RapHeads I hope I didn't ruin a good song for you hahaha. ENG1 AND RAW10 = BAD MEETS EVIL HAHAHAHA

C3 R1 [ after watching @brntguy 's videos i had to aspire to impress him and this is what I came up with.

@Engmatic1 ,You do incredible work!Thank you for including me in your projects! You do SNAIL a great service Sir,and it is appreciated. Always looking forward to seeing the great stuff that you,@singlepaddy ,@brntguy,@Falango ,and all of our Snail brethren contribute to the thread and our community! SNAILS ROCK!

Nice work @brntguy,Love to see you join the rooms, and you are always welcome! Keep 'em coming!

A little excitement outside my window at work today. The security guard at my work took this video of a car fire. This was on South Clinton between the Xerox and Bausch & Lomb buildings in Rochester, NY. Quality isn't great, but you'll get the idea. Driver escaped unharmed, but was obviously not pleased.

Is there any room to join? I just got a message over PSN and am interested?

@Bud458

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
