We have SNAILS in the race too don't we? Even if they can't hear or see you, cheer em on! I'd check out the stream if I wasn't working and packing today to move.
Yes we do. Team Dart #86. Just watched a stint with @euclid58 driving I believe. Other drivers include @Nail-27 , @WIDEeyedDRIVR , and @TEX36 . So, it's a high class team for sure. The commentators are referring to their bright green NSX as "Kermit". Comments have been positive as team Dart is running consistent and clean. There's other SNAILs on the team, those are just the ones that where listed in the ticker. Sorry if I left anyone out.

Go Team DART!!!

Nail just finished and Euclid is now out on his first lap.

I get it, no one likes me here nor do they ever want to help or be nice to me.
:D

Thanks for the support guys...we will post stint reports if you guys want....this was the first 2+50 stint since last year's Le Mans when @euclid58 and I were teamed in the world's slowest BMW. I am WAY too old for this Sierra. I'll clip the reports as available..we are currently sitting 8th overall and third in class with the possibility of a Podium both in the race and then the series if we don't screw the pooch next month at the Brands 12 hour.

No rain yet...rain rain go away come back another day. The car is a delight...tuning by a combination of @Adventuruss , @RobbiefromBC , @WIDEeyedDRIVR , and @euclid58 has rendered it user friendly if not blindingly fast. In this form of racing it is much more important to keep it " between the grass" because Heavy Damage in on, and a trashed car that is undriveable has to be returned to the pits on "ghost" called LHM (limphomemode) which can take 20 MINUTES.

Would like to join

@RedTailBoa

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Anybody have any experience with Harrys lap timer? Thinking about starting using this app to record my AutoX sessions since it has telemetry settings included.

I have a little bit, but I believe @CoachMK21 has used the AX telemetry feature. I have not... Yet.

After several track days, the consumables are now being replenished!

Going with Toyo R888's and Performance Friction carbon-metallic racing compound brakes. I learned to adjust the front sway bar this am, and I am finding out if I have all the anchor points for a six point harness and HANS stuff next.

Time to learn more from Coach when he returns!

Just caught up on 4 pages of the thread. I'll post more about the ChumpCar racing later.

I do use Harry's LapTimer for racing and autocross. I have not synced my Gopro video with HLT, but it can be done. I just need to take the time to read the supporting docs and test it.

Yea im going to buy the app and test it driving around town and see how it works so I'll have it figured out before the track day.

Thanks EB, and everyone.. Using a capture device for stint pictures didn't work out too good..
It black screened on me twice.. So, back to using the camera then..

Updates would be great. I've been checking in on you guys throughout the day. Wish I could be participating with you guys.

I just got home from a local county fair where they had a front wheel drive, figure eight, demolition race event. Five heats with a twenty lap feature. Holy Dive Bombs Batman!!! My wife, son and I had an absolute blast watching the races, and of course, a giant fist fight in the pits. Cops were called, people were hauled to jail, cars raced with missing rear wheels, one car was dragging its entire rear axle behind the rear bumper, another car had a complete roll over, it was a hoot of a night.

Well, we were in good position until I took over at my second 3hour stint. Still shown in 3rd place in class, but will surly change due to my disconnect.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! I've always thought that would be the worst thing to happen. Just SO out of your control. Don't let it get you down, like I said, completely out of your hands. Hopefully there's a procedure for getting you guys back under way.

DART Racing Team ....... may be exhausted after the 24 Hrs of Nurburgring ........ but had an excellent exposure to the grueling nature of executing a Stint Schedule with all it's Unanticipated Changes. May not have finished even in the same building as the podium, but ....... we finished.

While waiting to go On-Track there were some beautiful Sunrise shots - took these along the Start/Finish Straight.
Others will probably take better pictures, but thought these were good enough to at least share.

Thank you, Gentlemen.
Am glad that you found them acceptable for your viewing pleasure.
