Four wide!!

Hey, has anybody done a full re-install of GT6 lately or remember how long it took when they did? I'm talking just the part when you're in-game and it asks to install everything. It says 5 minutes but the bar is moving really slow, like barely moving. Will I be playing sometime tonight or leaving it on overnight?

what number are you on?

Have a good nap! (as long as it is still moving)
Based on how much it has moved since I posted that picture, it should be approximately 3 more hours.

Update: Sorry for not posting this right away but about 15 minutes ago it finished and Spa loaded just fine a test drive. I will do more testing tomorrow to see if I can use it online.

What's nice is that it's long which means you need to choose a fast car if you want to get a decent amount of laps. Even a stock GT500 race car is +2:10, and I bet a GT3 machine is still a few seconds over the 2:00 mark.

Update: Everything works!!

Thanks for keeping us posted :gtpflag:

It's good info to know in case anyone has an issue loading a track. Spend 14.99 USD on the digital copy and everything should work fine with that version.

Knowing everything we know about the G27's future would you buy one for $100? like for "Yes" comment for "No"
Yes most definitely... especially since funds are kinda tight for me right now... I was hoping the wife had some "stash" money to get one for my B-day but the new water heater and roof repairs took all the money we had and then some. So if you got one for $100.00 USD, I'd be very interested.

This exchange just took place in the D4 thread and it's relevant for everyone else as well.

This is per JLBowler's post: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/snail-olr-policies-and-guidelines.332619/#post-10892800
Circuito de Madrid - The white line and striped area at the exit of pit road is not considered a track boundary. The white line on the outside of the exit of the first hairpin can be ignored. Your car's left side tires must be on or inside the rumble strips.

I read this as, two tires on rumble strips. Not rumbles are out of bounds. We may want to clarify before racing tonight.

It is meant exactly the way it is written. The word "two" is not anywhere in there.

Your car's left side tires must be on or inside the rumble strips.

Inside means to the side of the racing surface. This is a rather unique spot in that there are two sets of rumble strips that have a break while the white line continues. This is the reason for the different definition of what you need to do to stay in bounds.

....lost in translation.... a car usually has 2 tires on the left side

It is possible at that spot, specifically the second set of rumbles, to have the front two tires in bounds and the rear two out of bounds or vice-a-versa. The difference here is that if either of your left side tires end up out of bounds, you are considered out of bounds no matter how many tires are OB. Normally, you must have three tires out but that is not the case here due to the unique shape of the rumble strips and out of bounds area.

That should tell you how good that car was handling for him to be able to do that. They did give him some bungee cords on the last pit stop to fix that issue.

That is very true. The team had a great car but that was expected. It is pretty safe to say he really wanted the "W" despite his bad luck throughout the race.
