Speaking of GT1

Anyone wanting to get some experience for the GTPES come on over to GT1. We are starting a new season January 6th open practice Dec. 30th. Come get a taste of tuning and have a little fun while your at it!

Request to Join post 9037. No longer racing but just want to help the post count along and wish @zer05ive a Merry Christmas and congrats on creating such a great league that has grown so far beyond what anyone could have imagined!

Thanks @jobyone-kenobi (more on that later)! To your point (and also because I don't want to be left out of the "request to join" theme, here's my first post about SNAIL. It's hard to believe that four years later, the "new thread about our league" is about to hit 100K posts!

P.S. Everyone - I'm about to leave for my first ever cruise in a few minutes. Unfortunately, I heard internet access is crazy expensive so I doubt I'll be online for about a week. That said it is a Disney cruise and they do own the Star Wars franchise.. Word on the street is that they'll be showing The Force Awakens on board!! I'm geeked!!

P.S.S. - If you see the movie, don't be that guy who posts spoilers!! Treat the movie like an F1 race!

Same price as on Black Friday...what differs is what games come bundled...
Some places just have Drakes Edition
Some have Drakes Edition with Last of Us bonus
Also some have a Batman game (careface)
Now I have seen Battlefront combos (not the special edition) at the $370 price as well.

I expect that Boxing day will not do better than this, but fingers crossed for me too, since I won't have cash until then (and maybe not even then)

As we're closing in on on post 10,000, I thought now could be a time for an opinion post. I'd like to offer my (unsolicited of course) opinion on the new F-40/Monza combo.

It's my opinion that this is the most challenging combo I've experienced since I joined SNAIL. This car is just wild. Voting off this combo because you didn't drive it well would be a huge mistake this Sunday. Every time I practice I'm amazed at how much potential this car has if you drive it properly. Don't get me wrong, I'm not great at driving it at all! But I know with enough practice, we could all be great at driving it. And then... the benefits would show. We'd all be better drivers for having practiced and raced it.

Please don't get discouraged if you didn't find the right groove with this car. Give it a chance. She's an amazing girl that wants some attention. Besides, its a friggin' Ferrari for cryin' out loud!

Again, my opinion. To each their own.

I felt that the Ferrari was very smooth except for one corner (can't remember which one) which it would slide out, not uncontrollably but enough to lose momentum and some tire wear, but I agree with you, a very nice car.
