I just placed an order for the Drive Hub, so in a few days I'll have it and will begin testing it out on my PS4. It was like $87 with 2-3 day shipping. There is a current 10% off code, "GIVEME10". I would suggest using PayPal to place your order, as it seems the site it's as secure as it could/should be. This thread has a lot of great information and several users are reporting positive results.
Looking forward to your review. I'm sceptical about the Drive Hub being 100% latency free. Seemed the home built versions were kind of a pain in the rear for those that tried them. If the Drive Hub is completely effective, I'll be a new customer.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

On behalf of the SNAIL BoD, I'm pleased to announce that we've voted unanimously to transition to GT Sport for the November 2017 season (which starts on October 29th). This means that the October 2017 season will be the last season that this particular thread will support GT6. As previously announced, anyone who races in the October 2017 season will earn points towards the ButtKicker Challenge V, where the winner will get to pick between a ButtKicker Gamer 2 or a ButtKicker Simulation Kit! After GT Sport launches, please be on the lookout for time trial instructions for the new game.

Project Cars 2 will undoubtedly be a great game as well, and SNAIL fully intends to have a one or more series feature this exciting new title; it just won't be the title used for our Sunday night series. During the course of the BoD's discussion on this decision, we came up with some interesting format ideas for a SNAIL pCARS 2 series. If you're interested in directing such a series (or if you have your own ideas for a SNAIL pCARS 2 series you'd like to direct), please let us know so that we can make arrangements to launch and promote a successful series together.

For the Snails that won't be investing in a PS4, we would love for you to remain part of the SNAIL community. If you'd like to start a new thread and direct a SNAIL GT6 series, it'd be a great way for PS3 owners to keep enjoying SNAIL racing and camaraderie. At the very least, please continue to race with us through the October season, as it will be our last with GT6 on Sunday nights. However, please note that we might cut the October season down to three weeks so that we can use October 22nd as a live-fire test session for GT Sport.
I would love to be a Snail again and race with all my old buddies and I think PCars 2 will be my go to game. . I really hope GT lives up to what you guys want and I will probably get it.....when it goes on sale. Maybe we can bring back Monday Night Pack Racing....." If so, I'm in.
Aerolite and I will be transitioning our PCars Lobanaro Lounge right away to the new game. Next Monday in fact, we are going to replicate tonight's races on the new game. If anyone want to tune in, there are a couple of YouTube channels live streaming, the comparison should be interesting.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Lotus Elise 111R '04 (Sports: Hard) at Autumn Ring / Reverse (8 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @JamCar0ne wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - Oullim Motors Spirra Prototype '04 (Sports: Medium) at Circuito de Madrid - Mini / Forward (12 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @socalnatv gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @JLBowler so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Car Selection Guidelines
See Section 3 of the SNAIL OLR, Policies and Guidelines.

Ayrton Senna DAP Racing Kart #17 '80 @ Kart Space II / Reverse !!!

Dealership 485 PP / 30 Hp / 63 Kg $100,000

This kart drives a bit different than others in the game. It only has one gear, but you will find it has plenty of speed to get the wheels off the ground if you're not careful. This track has never been run before and the reverse layout is more challenging than the forward layout.

Note: You can win this kart by achieving gold in the Senna kart challenge

Edit: weight correction

The reverse layout is also headache inducing due to the lighting. It was used in another SNAIL series a while back and that was the general consensus of the room. If you can get past that issue, it was a pretty good track to race.

You've all been warned. Take whatever precautions you need to take to avoid a light induced headache. I tried it again a couple of weeks after that race and found that dark tinted safety glasses did help with the issue.
