I could agree if a car comes with ABS it should be on by default
It can often be disconnected.

So we're gonna run with ABS off now even though it was always the only allowed driving aid? I just want to be clear what's allowed and what's not.
Not always a good idea as I have found out. I owned a Chrysler Crossfire. Basically a retooled 99 Merc SL500. Anyway, the TCS and ABS would never fully deactivate. I pulled the relay to the ABS control box. Turns out the proportioning valve is also a part of that system and the ratio gets out of whack enough to make a noticeable difference while doing an autocross. That wouldn't be bad, if the car had an LSD, which it didn't.It can often be disconnected.
Good. I got worried for a second lolABS is and always has been allowed.
Nice picsPrize B selection:
The Italian Stallion will be going to:
Alsace - Village
8:30 Clear

Thanks Free and Tecticles for popping into the test lobby

@ExoSphere64 was in the same room with a respectable 6th (+3 i think).
Fun combo.
I would love to, but server maintenance 🤬, that aside, racing designs only or can I go crazy? If you guys can post pictures of your creations in this size and resolution with a white or black background, I can use them for the combo table. It will then be less red and yellow.... Take note of the angle. It can be from the front/left or front/right and a slight angle from above.

Alright, so I am never playing sport mode again unless they fix the busted penalty system, I can't handle it anymore.
Just wanted to say thank you to all of you O.G. SNAILS from the administration to all of the drivers that kept this League alive. I am finally at a point where I can start racing again and am very thankful that the League is still alive and well. I can't imagine racing anywhere else... I am really looking forward to racing with all of you again. Again, thanks to everyone that has put in so much time to preserve the best GT League...
Yea, I did that one cold with no real qualifier... It was pretty tough at the back! I would have had better results but I got knocked around just a bit... It was pretty cool to be out there with you Wolf!!
Good job wolf! I didnt get a qualifying lap in time so i started 20th and was able to claw up to 15th but was in a room with aliens like doodle so i knew it wasnt going to be my race anyhow.
So.. I went back to the Sport Mode as Suzuka and Laggo Maggiore are the tracks feature. Not sure what you are complaining about.... but let me add my own thoughts on the matter.
Penalty System for short cutting seems to be accurate; you really have to push the kerbs to get a time penalty. So far, I have not gotten a time penalty while observing Snail guidance on Keep 2 rubbers on track.
Penalty System for contact is a whole different story. 2nd race at Lake Maggiore I was in 1st last lap.. fast right right before the hairpin before the main straight.... had about a half a second lead, guy behind me on a vette drove pretty clean for entire race except at that corner, he carried enough speed to use my bumper as brakes sending me skating into the grass; and then I got penalty for 'shortcutting' I assume. He got away with murder at the finish line. Side to side contact seems to be ok.
Even when I knew I was going to get hit from behind ... the Hamlin 'I could not do anything at all, tires becomes slippery as butter when hit from behind and breaking; the vette mentioned knew exactly the timing and the right speed as to just mess me up and him continue like nothing.
At the end, I understand that even with the best algorithm used, any penalty system is going to be flawed somehow. Don't think that the game is going to adjust to you. You need to adjust to the environment. IMO, is still very fun and gets your skills tuned even driving among all the noobs.
Try writing some simple logic as to how you would handle all the different scenarios of racing. A simple concept quickly becomes Fuzzy Logic.
I did a total of 6 races; 3 with the TT, 2 a Maggiore and 1 at Suzuka. But did run at least a couple of good laps for qualifying. That seems to be the secret, as long as you can start in the top 6 or so, you avoid all the Noob Chaos and Cat&Mouse feeling. All 6 races were fun at the front, and the key is to be patient and expect a bit of roughness or vindictive behavior. Cat&Mouse Skills are highly needed even at the front; good defense, car positioning and patience are a must. Driving smart gets better results than vindictive driving and getting even with Stephen.
Will try again the Suzuka race but with the Beemer.
If you tune you might become faster and move up in divisions. Heck, you might even make it to Div 1 and race the Snaliens who are fast without tuning. In a few weeks when Kamakazi brings back the no-tuning option we will implement that immediately.
The person that reached the higher divisions by tuning might feel a little out of place when tuning is prohibited again......
The Crossfire was actually built on the smaller SLK platform. The SRT-6 version used the SLK32 AMG power train. Not always a good idea as I have found out. I owned a Chrysler Crossfire. *super geek lisp* uhh technically it was the r170 platform, which was used by several merc models between 96 and 07. */super geek lisp* but you're right, the sl500 wasn't one of them. The Crossfire was actually built on the smaller SLK platform. The SRT-6 version used the SLK32 AMG power train.
You will know most likely Sunday around noon PST when Bowler posts the updated drivers list.I did the time trial sent the info today. Would I know by the weekend what division I’m in.
So basically, despite the "etiquette" training, its still the same ol online lobby? That sounds highly frustrating, and a big reason I came to this league back in the gt5 days. Getting wrecked, on purpose, at the end of a race is beyond rage quitting for me.
