Over $1000 into my racing set up counting the PS4, the best internet available in my area (Xfinity) and I can't race because the game is broken. I see Sand just fine on track until the race starts and my car gets stuck 4? times in a row. This is retarded and extremely frustrating. Hope y'all have a good night. Sorry for the delays.

Man, I feel your pain! I may not have the best internet(10 download / 10 upload), but the day Sport was released I went out and bought my PS4 Pro, GT Sport, A40TR headset, and have everything set up on my ionrax rig, and last night fellow racers were telling me my car was jumping all over the track! It's more than a little frustrating when you think you're running good and clean, and having fun, but then this......It totally screws your night up, not too mention possibly affecting other racers from having an enjoyable night of racing.(I apologize to anyone that was messed up because of it).
I really hope this issue is resolved soon, because as much as I love racing with you all, if this issue persists for me, I'm not going to ruin everyone else's fun, and will bow out until I can figure out the problem, if it's on my end, but if it's a GT or PSN issue I'm not sure what I can do about it.

It's almost certainly on PD's end, and given the fact that this has been happening since gt5, it seems PD ported more code than I would have guessed. Honestly, it is likely a server side issue as well, since it had persisted so long. I am hopeful that given the new platform and FIA partnership, this issue will get more visibility and thus a fix. But hope in one hand...
That said, if you think it's your connection, i implore you to consider two things, what other games have a similar issue when playing online? How many other players are experiencing the same issue? To my experience, I've never had issues online with another multiplayer game of a similar nature, and a lot of other people in the league are reporting the same issue. They likelyhood of it being your connection is pretty slim I am thinking.
On the bright side Ardamike, at least GTS isn't the only racing game, and PS4 the only platform to play on. Dropping big bucks on a rig for one game, i can see being dishearting, but there are luckily plenty of fish in the sea.

Well I can say confidently that I do not think it is my connection. After completing the races last night I played the new Call of Duty, and had zero issues, as well as P Cars earlier in the evening, and again no issues. I guess I've always felt more comfortable with the Gran Turismo series', simply because I was a huge fan since the first one, but if this really is related to the several server issues that have been plaguing the series since GT5, it might be time for me to expand my horizons, and try a different racing platform like PCars or Assetto.

I've got the Ionrax Rig. I've made a few mods to mine with a swivel support on the left side only for additional stability. And today, I ordered a Recaro seat for it with brackets for tilt as I'm close to 6'2" and that little bit of a reclined position should be a little more comfy.

Has anyone else using the T300RS experienced the start menu popping up in the middle of a race even though the start button was not pressed? It happened to me a few times while going through the single player, and it happened again at least twice last night.

Go to Sport Mode, the two events to the right of the sport mode event list is the FIA events that are available now. You can race in both the Nations Cup and the Manufactures Championship. I'm mainly focusing on the Manufactures Championship this time around as it's only a test season. I think they had a post on it a few weeks ago on GT Planet. I'm sure you'll see a follow-up link here by one of the more attentive SNAILERS.

I started 6th in my race and finished 2nd, so I was happy with that. Qualifying is kind of a mess, since the group I was with was treating it like a race and were all over the place.
I don't remember the exact menu names, but at the top go to Sport, then there is a Race link to take you to them. That's where the 3 different online races are, as well as the FIA and the Manufacturers races are.
