Which video is it, lol? I like Z but he (and many of the FIA finalist guys) can be super whiny and ridiculous. That’s why my guy is McQueen. Been racing him for years he’s great. No complaining just pedal to the metal with him.

So recently I became the head administrator for the Team Turismo FB page.

Not only do I make posts marketing the drivers activities associated with the team; I also am slowly posting up my year's worth of very high quality, edited video clips & racing content to grab attention of new comers & display the talent level of the top Team Turismo official race drivers.

I am mentioning all this here today because I post clips from snail too, & I publicly praise & recommend snail & the positive values of our organization, in front of a fast growing page audience of over 400 people and counting since June.

Not only would I like to invite anyone here (who uses social media here & there) to like our page and even comment or share our page and posts regularly,
---but I would also like to share the same clips I post in the official Team Turismo page, in a slow drip feed within here as well; where the level of difficulty & effort will really be appreciated.

-the clip from above, which has been basically not viewed by anyone since I saved, it is a perfect example of the calibre of clip I want to share with you guys & the world. No one overtakes at that very thin part of the Nordschleife. A double overtake there is truly unheard of.

So from what I can see, no one is making clips quite like mine.

-& above all, I race clean and stay in-bounds in these clips (just barley in this one) - which I think promotes my snail upbringing in a very positive way & hopefully will create more interest, & attract new membership.

Let me know what you guys think, in youtube comments, here of course, & hopefully on the Turismo page or all 3.
& if you enjoy the work, likes & definitely shares are super appreciated.

That's probably the funniest thing I have ever read on here lol wtg @MikeGrove

Yeah, I even had my little slide show. (Btw, after years of pressure from my RL friends, I removed the tasteful vinyl decals from my windows :()
I grew tired of mean comments.

& Total disrespect for the Vitz by Polyphony to have removed it from GT Sport after nearly 15 years, & its own campaign cup trophy Events.

Maybe they'll bring it back in with the F50 Ferrari update

I can host, but I only played back-up for the time when you were time limited with outside commitments. You are welcome to take it over again and I will move to back-up.

Why dont you go ahead and host and I will help out with the typing to the non-snails that join.

Maybe in the future being an Official Practice Host (and Unofficial) will net you a few $hells as an added incentive for hosting a successful night. I've been discussing the Marketplace/$hells with @zer05ive and hopefully spark some interest again. I think its a really cool asset to the league and rewards people for the time spent volunteering in different ways.

I gave @Rob Brown the run down on data the other day and he seems to have done a great job for his first time doing it. I told him to make sure to post in the thread that you completed data so you can earn $hells. He messaged me last night wondering how to claim them.

Here you go Rob and anyone else wondering:

Head to the Marketplace thread and under the "How do you earn $hells?" header there is a link to a form you fill out. Its important to post in this thread that you have completed xyz duty because your post acts as a paper trail to collect $hells in the form you fill out.

I haven't claimed $hells in a while. I think I will prolly be high up on the list if I do go back and claim them all

This was put into place recently:

How long do I have to claim my earned $hells?
Earned $hells must be claimed within one week of the end of the season in which they were earned. It is highly recommended that you claim your $hells immediately after making a post that qualifies for $hells, but it is not required. If you would like to claim $hells more than one week after the season has ended, you will need to send a message to @zer05ive and ask for an exception.

Has any progress been made on the pay scale rate?

I've completed my review of 14 incidents on file from last weekends races. Thank you to @Herimopp89, @stelephant, @Rob Brown, @racingchamp30, @Neutty for uploading replays.

Yes, I only needed to review 14 of the replays to balance out the required steward reviews needed per incident filed. @JLBowler, @Raw10_2u and @TomMang_68 got right on them and finished off a bunch before I could get to them this week....Thanks guys.

Lol I didn't know that was you. I think I remember seeing that pop up on my suggestions for YouTube. Going back to watch now.

Reviewer found it ^^^^^

@Whitey093 @abm89

@MikeGrove thanks for the words of wisdom i will definitely use it and I just want to reiterate I didnt want it to seem like I was taking a shot at you or the choice by any means and if it came off that way I apologize

No worries, I didn't take it that way at all. I really should have realized the NSX had its time & chosen a fresh vehicle, but I'm happy with my selection.

& races are almost always won by the driver who wants it the most. Show your division that any potential prize you guys get has your name on it.

Yep, apparently I didnt look hard enough lol.

Thank you Reviewer!

omfg i remembered why i stopped watching that guy. does he not know that FR cars will wear the fronts out faster?!?!?!?!?

Like, I can't even.

I've gone through multiple RE-71Rs on the front my Z just because that's just how it happens. More weight on or over the front axle will make it a front-grip limited car.

very basic.

Most of my combo picks in the last 3 & 1/2 years have caused storms. From, @DesertPenguin complaining, to @lllTrick & of course most recently my untested, winning suggestion of that Drift car GT86, which had 1500hp but also a super short ratio gear box, which topped out at 145mph a quarter the way down the straight of that combo- making it invalid.

We're supposed to learn from mistakes, but as is clear, I find ways to make new mistakes with small adjustmest each time.

***
I promote snail to people everyday, like Im selling a car at work. I promote because I belive in the product (the quality racing) & what we do together here.

The great times I have had meeting people and learning here with all of you has ABSOLUTELY made me a more confident & more skilled driver than I was in 2015 by 2x no doubt.
Race craft, pace, judgement, reactions- across the board.

This is racing @TexasJDC, if you believe in your own ability, thats half the battle. You can win a prize Sunday if you want it badly enough.

To be clear myself, I honestly forgot we used it so recently. I should have known from that livery being on it already from last time :boggled:
It stayed around for a week as well right?

Hopefully one day in a practice lobby or endurance event I get to race on track with you @JLBowler

So anyway,
-I sincerely apologize for that bone headed mistake. I had other cool options, one being a Gr.4 NSX- but I also forgot that would have used sport tires too.

Other un-tested options were W108 Merc F1, SRT tomahawk, The Samba and the new Gr.2's at Catalunya.

I tested this combo pick 1st and decided not to test anything else because I enjoyed it so much.
- NSX on N300 bop is completely over powered. I found out from a random lobby.

& That's partially how the combo was inspired. The other half of the inspiration was from my dominate win in an A+ FIA lobby with Gr.4 NSX at Seaside earlier this fall.

I beat multiple drivers who actually just went to regional finals in that race & beat them bad. I should have been there to beat them again, but maybe next time I will put even more time in.

After that win, Salty Z28 gaming went and made that 15 min rant video featuring mostly my Turismo-Groove account on screen for its duration; which got over 15,000 views.

All this made the Dagon trail seaside with an NSX a significant track/car combo for me & for my career putting hours in this game.

I personally credit all my wins since 2015 to the people and lessons I have learned through Snail
- thats how much being here & promoting the organization means to me.

Now you know the hell I went through with Miss Devious (not bothering to tag her since she doesn’t need to be). When I said the next time I’m supposed to pick a new car or track that I wouldn’t do it, I still stand by that. I don’t care if I earned the right, I won’t choose anything, I’ll pass it to the next one, and forfeit any chances for the next month. The last thing I need is some salty people not liking the combo OR threatening to do something.

Good gravy...

I think the problem is balancing it in a competitive race when you have tire wear turned up.

The other problem is some cars (Viper) have their weight turned up to like 115% which hurts the wear even more.

The point he is making is that a harder compound shouldn't outwear a softer compound in the same length unless the car with the harder compound gets an advantage elsewhere. With the current state of balance cars like the Viper or mustang aren't faster enough to make up for the increased tire wear.

For example, the gr3 lambo is so so very fast, but it's tires wear faster than other gr3's which makes it relatively balanced.

Holy smokes!
Can't say I have seen that before.

So this is what you meant on Tuesday when you described your 90 min Nürburgring strategy as,

"All or Nothing"

Credit to the other two as well for keeping it together 👍

LMAO that was the qualifying strategy, but since the servers were acting up, I just made that the strategy for the first stint.

On sport mode, I'll try wilder moves than what I would do on SNAIL.

Your bold pick turned out to be one of the best experiences. It won’t soon be forgotten.
