Oh my wife loves the hey its 8 dont ask me for anything till 1030 or 11 hahahaha she doesnt get it but as long as I make up for it I stay out of the infamous dog house

Agreed my wife usually works from about 8pm and later but on the days she has off it definitely starts to tick her off

I have no experience with the TGT, but the CSL has been really good for me. I recommend getting a load-cell brake pedal as you'll definitely need more resistance than the standard 2 pedal setup. The wheel is smooth, while providing good feedback, and as far as GT Sport, the drivers are well supported. You'll be able to feel when front end of the car understeers or goes light.

Edit: forgot to mention the good "ecosystem" Fanatec has with their accessories and compatibility with other systems.

Since you have the latest drivers installed... pedals still dont have compatibility to use the vibration motors right?

I use a collective minds drive hub for my G27/Fanatec V3 pedal combo. Never once have I downloaded any drivers or firmware.https://collectiveminds.ca/shop/allconsoles/drivehub/

I have the base pedal set
 
If rednose cant make it we can look at the screen shots of the gaps from the previous race and carry it over to the next set. I plan on live streaming it if we go through with it and can jump from lobby to lobby or however we set it up the only thing is when it's my stint it will just be my view
 
Practice a little this afternoon. Drove the Gr.3 Porsche at red bull. I kept noticing my abs activating during the straight and the slightest little bit of brake activating when abs flashes. Is that normal? Are my pedals acting up? Anybody else noticing that? This also was slowing me down from my guess 4 tenths. It’s kinda frustrating.

Sounds exactly like the brake spiking I'd get with my old G27 due to a dirty potentiometer. It was covered under warranty with Logitech.

Get it replaced if it's under warranty. I found that once it starts spiking, you will need to clean them every couple months. If you have warranty, perhaps wait until 2 months before it expires and get the gear replaced at that point.

My old & proven strategy for this issue when I ran G27 pedals:

Kick the crap outta the naughty pedal & stamp on the brake or throttle hard until it stopped. :ouch:

Would usually last all day at the very least.
-Maybe the dirt/dust blocking the potentiometer was being pulverized (temporarily)

For me, Gran Turismo and the term "late night" are synonymous.

-months ago I stated to my closest GT buds that I would choose the Samba Bus at Blue moon Bay Infield B reverse.

People may call choosing a slow car like that, making a "Troll Pick" but thats not the intent with a possible choice like that.

(I am sure a few of you remeber my Totota Yaris Prize A from a while back)
(still my daily Driver btw)

The best drivers will stand out even more than usual in extra slow pace combos like that, on extra low grip tires, & with one very challenging high speed corner.

But, as I was lectured by my buds, -we want to promote snail, not repel new people with odd combos, which I already know some will vigorously object to racing.

If anyone remebers lllTrick, he threw a serious fit & ranted for hours over my combo choice that week. Not what I want to see this week.

That's something iv been waiting for a racing game to to do for a long time I have always thought it would be cool to have a 4 driver team and be able to switch off at different times and run like a true le mans race

I'm pretty sure iracing has this feature. My son has done 24hr races on iracing in the past (as far back as 2yrs ago), each team member taking 3hr (or something like that) stint. It would be pretty cool to get a feature like that into GTS!

Gaming computer is my next investment. iracing seems really good from videos iv seen. I'll probably get that and I agree it would be pretty cool to have it in gts

I tried iracing for 1 year (gift from my son), but then I could not get myself to pay $15 per car and $15 per track in addition to ~ $100/yr membership, so I simply played the MX5 rookie season for a whole year. I think I just got spoiled by GT5 and GT6 - free cars and tracks :P That's why once the iracing membership ran out, I just went with GTS. Pretty happy doing that - esp with good wheel and pedals.
