Here’s an early peek at the Christmas present I’ll be getting for everyone in the Lobanaro Lounge.

I packed that fudge myself. It was made with love.

As an act of contrition for my insolence, I’ll leave you with another JonZ PCARS2 movie. About 90% of it is game footage, see if you can easily spot the real car footage from the video game footage...

Mmm... Porschnogrophy. My new word for erotic videos of Porsche vehicles. I even like the retro (unshaven) models.

Speaking of retro - hows about some old metal or fiberglass for next Monday? I do miss me some vintage race cars!

Uploaded my streams from race 2 and 3. Just plain forgot about streaming race 1. But it's all starting to come back to me. I'd have to say it's a good thing Daddy's home. While most of the racing was great, some of the side by side racing seems to have gotten a little sloppy since I've been away. As those that have experienced racing with me, there's nothing I love more than a side by side battle, lap after lap. I'll always leave you room and a racing line - but I'm going to try to take away your preferred line any chance I can. That's the most fun of being in a clean lobby with guys you trust. But we all have to be aware of our surroundings, which obviously can get tough without the ability to turn your head and check your blind spots. I was bumped and pushed off my racing line a few times with no concessions or acknowledgements. At one point I was afraid we were experiencing connection issues and I was invisible.

Just a little P.S.A. for us to all be aware. Check your mirrors, use the side view, check the map, download and use the Crew Chief app; There's tools to know who's around us. Personally, I used to be much better at calling out my position when I was side by side or overtaking somebody, but I'm still rusty and have a couple new names to learn. I'll get there soon. There was also a lot of guys on track running close together Monday. Don't know why those two cars were chosen to share that track, but that's another discussion entirely (Seriously - I'm just F-ing with you Mike!). And then you throw Alex into the mix. For some reason he's just having his own personal drifting contest through a pack of racing X-Bows , only Alex .

Good thing who's home? Jeez, you'd think I'm Daddy. Maybe it's my sore back that's making me whiny. Maybe I'm butt-sore that Steve beat me by one point. You know I got two pit lane penalties and started in the rain on semi-slicks, right Steve? Yeah, yeah, excuses - excuses. I'll kick your arse next week :mischievous:. Well, I better quit now. Otherwise Mike's going to put me in charge of something :scared:.

In all seriousness - It was awesome to get back. I'm still a little sore from racing Monday, and yesterday my wife said I was walking like I shouldn't have been racing Monday night. So I've gotta keep an eye on that. But I drove her to, and got her through her Dentist appointment yesterday (with a Percocet and a Valium) - so I'm back in her good graces for now. Saw my Doctor this morning and am going in for another hip injection and some more therapy in a couple weeks. Pain wise, my trend line is improving. Slow, but getting better.

Please, no vintage metal and fiberglass Monday (read: the fun cars) - I'm day shift .
How about GT3s on an oval...

Happy to be seeing Steve and Aero again.

We will be running two Group A cars this week, which will mix up the starting grids and keep some closer racing between the two groups. Will still be scored separately.

I see gutter likes his fudge ,now if it were snickers bars or marathon bars to the older folk now we are talking, it's the only type of chocolate I munch on,

Can you put me on the reserve drivers list , that way if people don't show ,highly unlikely and I am still up and online then send me an invite,

Good coverage of me going from 1st to last in the first corner. I believe it was the fault of someone's crew chief.
"Ok, we've qualified just outside the top 3,,,but we can make that up in the first corner "
And Jeff...I'm ALWAYS down for vintage cars,,, everything in between is just waiting. Good to have you back pal.
Oh...and get good bro.
Adding in edit, so no double post....
Quadrapalegic drive for b class?.....noooooooooooo.
Alex, I'll trade you classes for 1 night?...
Isn't that Audi in the same class as the mustang trans am?... perhaps I'm mistaken?
Oohh just a thought...I can't remember us running that beast t/a mustang in our league.
What's that Jeff?..did you say get good bro???.. touché!

I think our IT guy is on some good meds this morning. Nobody's trading anything...get it? Got it? Good. Blame Aerodadshome, he picked the combo.

There's nothing in this world I hate more than Christmas music.....any kind of Christmas music....from Bing, Buble, John and Yoko,(puke), I hate it all. Thank the Big Guy for good noise reduction headphones to filter out the noise pollution when I go out. There is one song worth listening to, I wonder how many of you kids have heard this....

As a true narcissist, I insist on getting myself at least one X-mas gift each year. This year I was hoping it would be the new Thrustmaster console version of their handbrake/sequential shifter. But the console version still isn't available in the US, and that means no Amazon black Friday deal. So, I just now settled on that newish Thrustmaster LED display. It's wireless and works kinda like the Crew Chief and PCars Dash apps. It's one of the few Thrustmaster items that Amazon discounted very much this year. The Sparco R383 rally wheel rim is a super good deal if anyone is interested in that. I paid a full $199 for mine - and it's only $117 right now on Amazon. It's a full size replica at 13"/33 cm. I love how much more realistic it made my rig. I'll let you know what I think of the display in a week or so.

@Schmiggz PUBG is PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds, a battle royale shooter and it’s finally on the PlayStation. You can either play it as a solo or join a squad if you want. I played it on the PC at a friends house and it was a lot of fun. Fortnite and H1Z1 copied its gameplay so there’s talk of lawsuits flying and that the other 2 may get shutdown. Fortnite added a stupid bridge/barricade building element and H1Z1 is pretty boring. PUBG is the granddaddy of them all. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

And @Gr8_Lakes Thanks for letting us know about the Sparco wheel; I just ordered it. And fill us in on the LED after you get and use it. I’ve seen it for $165 or so, but wasn’t sure if it would be worth it. I wish they’d make one that would mount in the space on the Thrustmaster F1 wheel where there’s an obvious screwed down plate made to fit something there.

I thought exactly what you said about Fortnite when I looked up PUBG. My son plays Fortnite, and I thought, "looks like Fortnite ripped this off and made it more cartoony."

I don't know how I'll mount the LED display yet. But since I've started back I really like racing with all the HUD stuff turned off, so this will help. You're going to love the Sparco wheel. A website FlamingToast.com had perfect button stickers to remember what button does what, and they even made me custom stickers for PS, OP, L2 , and R2 buttons. I just emailed them and they did it for like six bucks. I'll try to remember to show a picture later.

I was looking at all the new (to me) LeMans and Ferrari DLC and realized how much time I can spend just trying new content. I'll be racing some cool stuff later on tonight if anyone feels like staying up late.

As you've discovered, I've been running late-night rooms regularly so tonight is pretty likely (windy and rainy here). I'll shoot for midnight EST. Order of the night will be VPTB (512s and 917s), VGTB (including Testa Rossas), Gr.4, VGTA and VF1C if we're still functional at that point. Min. license B1200, races by class.

How much laps?
.
.
.*Runs* :)

Same here but the dream this year is a little too expensive and my wife has been raising eyebrows to it but.... I want it so bad:D

That's exactly why I'm not going down that Fanatec rabbit hole. I've been plenty happy with my Thrustmaster gear, but the Fanatec stuff looks sooo nice. Still, not happening. I have invested too much into Thrustmaster accessories to start over. They've got their hooks in me pretty good.

Guess who's back?...Back again?....Guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back, guess who's back?
Fanatec - Check
Firmware update - Check
Practice laps (with corner lines off) - Check (Just a few laps today. First time after 3 weeks inactivity since just got wheel so doe dig)
.....So you know what that means. I'll be rejoining tomorrow Monday. WOOT WOOT!!!!
