Based on the info from the Tuesday night practice session we had the other day, we need to implement the following change to the rules.

We discovered a problem with our tire selection rule and enforcement. In short, the game will force the tire compound change however we can't review the tires in the replay to ensure no one runs on Race Medium tires as the replays have a glitch in that it wont show the tire change so, we will be adding the following rule.

Post Race Inspections
  • Immediately following the completion of each race and before anyone is allowed to go into "Car Settings", I will call for a Post Race Inspection.
  • Everyone is to "Sign Up" so I can see what tires everyone is on as this will indicate the tire they finished the previous race with.
    • I will have already checked the starting tires when everyone is in turn 1 prior to each race.
  • Anyone found to have raced on Race Mediums will have their race disqualified.
  • Once I give the all clear, people can change their tires in preparation for the next race.
  • Anyone who goes into "Car Settings" before I give the all clear will receive a 8 pt penalty for each infraction.
This is to ensure no one runs on Race Mediums during the race and keeps it a level playing field. I have tagged all Active Drivers to ensure everyone understands this update. Once you have read and understand the above, please "Like" this post so I know who has seen it. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks everyone

Hey Grid, i hate to be a pain but can I change my color to GT METALLIC 007-W? Warden was right, it seemed a little dark out there :) if not thats cool too. Thanks

Oh same wheels and #

Congratulations Grimm, you forced Parcells hand into liking a post for the first time in his short life. I was too afraid if I didn't follow your instructions to a T and like that post I'd be out on my ass so well done.

And well done on catching the potential hole in the tight ship you're running here. We don't want this series to sink on it's maiden voyage now do we?...been told to use more analogies in my communications.

Does this mean I'm part of social media now?

As part of a future enhancement being considered for Season 2, we have started a Weekly Time Trial event that will run from Tuesday to Sunday featuring the current car/track combination. The Time Trials are located in the Club Lobby. Once you sign up for the event, you can create a lobby using the event settings. Once you "start" the event (must start the event to record lap times), at the completion of the 15 mins, each drivers fastest times will be logged. I will then update the sheet below and post it in the first page of the topic. This is currently optional and is a good chance to see how you stack up with the other drivers in preparation for the race on Tuesday.

One thing to note, the tire/ware and fuels setting is set to off so everyone will run with full tanks and fresh tires for the 15 min run.

Current Time Trial - Twin Ring Motegi East
Status - Open
Event Closes - Sunday 1/4/15 @ 8:00pm Eastern

Damn, I work 9-5 tomorrow so I'll only have about a hour window to do this. Why not make it run Wednesday to Monday so it starts the day after the last race and goes until the day before the next race? Just curious how your method works. Don't mind me.

There is always a reason to my madness just not ready to formally announce it yet. No worries, the next time trial will start on Tuesday night after the main event

Fair enough. Ugh... I got home about 30 min ago from work. Have to be back at 9am. Trying to get really high so I can fall asleep but I bought pistachio nuts and they're soooooo goooood... Stream of consciousness post.

Hello GrimGrnninGhost.
I am afraid i will have to withdraw from this series. If you have a monday or tuesday series however. i would love to join that. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this series though.

This is a Tuesday series though?

Just a reminder that I will be closing the series to new signups at midnight tonight eastern so I can prepare for tomorrow night's races.

#91 Body: British Racing Green. Wheels: Default/Stock
I'm rkzjb04, British Racing Green, silver wheels, #66. I also see that Euclid 58 had this color before me [albeit in a different division]. Shall I change my color for only the touring series? Thanks.
There are two different shades of British Racing Green. I have the lighter shade.

It's alright Rob I'll choose something different. Right now I have the default body color.
I'll prep a second car with one of the Japanese Chromes I was looking at.
