Since we have a large number of new people in the series, just a reminder that if you are not one of the confirmed drivers listed above in the race day announcement, you will need to go through KOQ which starts at 8:00pm eastern. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks

Based on the info from the Tuesday night practice session we had the other day, we need to implement the following change to the rules.

We discovered a problem with our tire selection rule and enforcement. In short, the game will force the tire compound change however we can't review the tires in the replay to ensure no one runs on Race Medium tires as the replays have a glitch in that it wont show the tire change so, we will be adding the following rule.

Post Race Inspections
  • Immediately following the completion of each race and before anyone is allowed to go into "Car Settings", I will call for a Post Race Inspection.
  • Everyone is to "Sign Up" so I can see what tires everyone is on as this will indicate the tire they finished the previous race with.
    • I will have already checked the starting tires when everyone is in turn 1 prior to each race.
  • Anyone found to have raced on Race Mediums will have their race disqualified.
  • Once I give the all clear, people can change their tires in preparation for the next race.
  • Anyone who goes into "Car Settings" before I give the all clear will receive a 8 pt penalty for each infraction.
This is to ensure no one runs on Race Mediums during the race and keeps it a level playing field. I have tagged all Active Drivers to ensure everyone understands this update. Once you have read and understand the above, please "Like" this post so I know who has seen it. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks everyone

Reposting the above to make sure everyone understands the process.

Wait, sorry. I thought this was for the race car series tomorrow night. I won't be there tonight but should be able to start next week in this series.

Damn, double post.
You miss out on not having to go thru KOQ!

Hey Grim .. Are you starting a full 16 in the main events? I know its probably here somewhere , I have read and read some more , just don't see it .... Just wondering how many spots are available to those who have to go through KOQ(which I love the idea by the way) ? With @vsfit not making it it would appear that top 7 get in the show ? Is that right ?

Thanks and sorry if I somehow skipped that info

Correct, say 7 drivers main event drivers confirm their spot by deadline..then it's first come first serve in the KO lobby, and top 9 times fill in the remaining main even spots

Correct. I usually wait until everyone has confirmed or until 8:00pm eastern to indicate how may spots are available to move to the main event. This week it looks to be 7 spots as we have 9 confirmed drivers

Knock-Out Qualifying Club Lobby
is now open

Seven positions are up for grabs in tonight's Knock-Out Qualifying session. Top 7 lap times from tonight's Knock-Out qualifying will advance to the Main Event. Top 10 confirmed drivers, please do not enter the lobby until KOQ is complete at around 8:45 eastern. I will update the thread and lobby title once we are finished with qualifying.

As a reminder, prior to anyone joining the lobby (KOQ or Main), please clear your cache to help ensure quality connection.

I might as well not race ever again because I can never get help and when I get any advise it makes me worse so I might as well forget about doing any kind of racing and never hear about or watch racing again because of how horrible I race. That's how i'm feeling right now.

Hang in there. We all have bad nights. this car is VERY much different than the Merc as is the format. You will be fine

Tyler, when we wrecked in R2 that might have been my fault not sure. If so I'm sorry.
Try taking 10 weeks off and see how it feels. I'm having a hard time now.

You must be rusty, I was in front of you  Good battle in last race, nice to be back on the track with you again.

I was doing so well and then messed up my fuel strategy for Race 2 and had to pit a second time. So I went to Softs and sprinted to take back 4 or 5 spots. Other than that I had a pretty successful night. I think I'm still in the Top 10 so I don't have to do KOQ which is nice. Good racing for the most part from the veterans. We all have to get a bit more familiar with this car and the format. I'm thinking the last race week will be the most fun for this car.

Congrats to @Parcells2 for being the highest finisher in points tonight that is not in the top 10 in the RCS per the below rule. Well done Parcells!

Highest finisher in points each night that in the
Touring Car Series that is not in the top 10 in the Wed Night Race Car Series will get a locked in spot for the Wed Night race (must be an active driver in the RCS. and will not need to go through KOQ on Wed Night)

Will have the full results posted Thursday
