Ugh fine. I don't like the idea though. It's easy to tell who's who during replay scrutinizing because our names are above our cars. Not every color looks good on every car. And there's only so many colors. I don't wanna just pick black. Has Rossa Corsa been taken yet? I like that Ferrari Red. Again though, if you know where Electric Blue comes from maybe I can buy a bunch of that car in the dealership just for the paint chips.
Pick one. As I said in an earlier reply to your concern, the color scheme helps identify drivers. The replay does not show the name above the car. And to avoid further banter about it displaying above the car, I viewed a replay before posting this.

#93 please. 96 Lotus Elise orange with Nero black wheels

@DesertPenguin09, i took pictures of a couple incidents at Laguna but with so many similarly colored cars and no names in the picture, it would be hard for me to prove who did what if i was challenged to provide proof. Just helps to simplify things when everyone sticks out and is consistent.

I do agree actually about the colours Penguin, I understand why it was implemented but I like the creativity of "styling" each car individually. I think that it's possible to discern the cars anyway when reviewing the replay, but that's only my opinion.

When i am reviewing a replay of a race i was in and saved myself, yes i can discern who is who. If i am sent a replay of a race i was not in, i cannot control the replay and the names do not appear above the car. Furthermore, if there's an incident i rule on and i am challenged, my pictures have no ID of who belongs to what car so someone could just say "that wasn't me". If you were the only pink car, well you're busted.

Fair enough. I'll pick something. Does anyone know what car from the new dealership offers Electric Blue? I'm not even sure what manufacturer it's from.

Damn this game... That's not the same Electric Blue I have. There's probably more than one with the same name but they're two different colors...

I found a color similar to what I want. It's Aqua Blue that the Nissan Leaf uses. I was hoping Electric Blue was on a high end car so the paint would look better too but this isn't too bad. Black rims of course.

I bought that Silvia a while back. Can someone tell me if the chassis reinforcement was stock or if I installed it myself. Just want to make sure the one I have qualifies.

Not stock. Not absolutely positive, but I would bet on it; I'm that sure...

Please check DRIVERS LIST to see if I have your information correct. If you don't see your name, you know what to do.:) If you gave it to me, I apologize if you are not listed. Please resend.

Busted took white, but Stig is always white. I wonder what he's gonna do. I also like orange or lime green on certain cars. Makes them look funky

That's how mine is painted too but I lightened it to match the real life GTS specs. Had to buy a new one for this race.

Stig is going to be white, with white wheels. I think that sufficiently different from Busted. I don't think he's willing to compromise. :P

Hoping this goes to top page 9

ATTENTION S.T.a.R. DRIVERS

Please submit your individual color scheme on this thread. If possible try to use a different scheme than what is already on the DRIVERS LIST. As for numbers, you must have a different number, no duplicates. As you can see, it is first come first serve for the number. With your color scheme please add your PSN ID if it is different than your GTP ID.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone what this league is all about. RESPECT and RACECRAFT. Respect all drivers & their capabilities and continue to improve racecraft. I would like to share an experience I had in a public room that, to me, is a great example of racecraft.
Two cars were having a great race when the lead car got loose coming out of a corner and fish-tailed a little. The following car was on his heels and came out of the turn under control. As the lead car came out of the turn he tried to recover a little quick (in a hurry as not to get passed) and used almost the entire width of the track to recover. Here is where the following car showed respect & great racecraft: Rather than "jump an opportunity" to pass and possibly make contact, or even wreck with the lead car, he saw the situation and held off for a moment. As soon as he saw the lead car gain control (little to no fish-tailing), he made the pass cleanly. Hopefully this event will help us to understand what racecraft means.
For you baseball guys, you will understand this baseball unwritten rule, "Play the game right". To me, the same applies to racing. Play the game right.
I encourage everyone to re-read the OLR. Maybe a section a day and ingrain it into your mind. The above example is the epitome OLR 08: D (and to a degree OLR 06: C). Remember, it is always the following cars responsibility to avoid contact, and pass with no contact. Will it always happen, no; we're human. But I believe if we keep that in mind at all times, it will happen far less frequently; any contact for that matter. Then, the result is hard, competitive, clean, and fun racing!!! Respect the guy who beats you to the finish line for what he did while you pressured the **** out of him.

I humbly and sincerely thank you all for your participation in S.T.a.R. and your patience as we continue to grow and we (admin) continue to learn how to organize and communicate information vital to this league's longevity. And thank you for enduring my passion.
