Most fun I've had racing since I started this league,doesn't matter if it's for first or fifth or last as long as I'm racing with someone it's a blast
Yea, I was a piece in front of you and DP all by myself at the halfway point, kept seeing your dots right together, I wanted in on that so I hit the wall going into the hairpin and waited, :lol:

I knew when I saw us catch up to you that you slowed just to have a race. I love that. And now you're taking a break. Booooo

So I noticed that the track selections were exactly the same for both the RUF and BMW offerings in the new voting poll. It would be nice to find a way to incorporate something like the old RCS where the "newly voted in car" had it's own track offerings more suited to that car. I would assume the RUF and 2002 BMW drive very differently and would likely be more fun on different tracks. I would be happy to test combos for viability and fun factor if you ever wanted to try something like that.

Lesson missed a very fun night.
The Filapino knows it's time for a break when I can hold him off for the last half of the race. Granted my back bumper was about 14 ft wide a couple of times.
Jax, where did that talent come from...I couldn't pass you. Believe me, I tried.
I think that was the most racey night for me in a long time. Someone to battle with all night long
Schmiggz, thanks for hosting, great job. Even at night.

I have to give a pat on the back to DP who stuck around ALL NIGHT, even though he sucked and was getting his ass kicked. Now that's how you earn respect.:cheers: Wakwak.

@Mike Lobban I would like to think the talent has been there all along,a lot of it has to do with me finally getting my pedals setup right and being comfortable in my rig all night :cheers:

Agree. The way you were racing before was borderline absurd. I cannot believe you would even bother... And that's coming from a controller guy! :)
Yeah it was a pain in the butt,but I really do enjoy doing this and this is pretty much the only hobby I can handle because of my physical limitations,so I just kept trying,but now it is really a whole lot better

So I wanted to share a nice set of FFB settings for the G29 that I have found on PCars forum. I have gone back and forth with different settings on there but this set seems to work really well for me. If you want it a little stronger just up the Tire Force to your liking. But this set seems to let me feel the road in every situation.

Tire Force = 5O
Per Wheel Movement = O
Per Wheel Move Squared = O
Wheel position Smoothing = O.O4
Deadzone Removal Range = 0.18
Deadzone Removal Falloff = .019
Linkage Scale = O.OO
Linkage St
......iffness = 1.OO
Linkage Damp = 1.OO
Relative Adjust Gain = O
Relative Adjust Bleed = O
Relative Adjust Clamp = O
Scoop Knee = O.61
Scoop Reduction = O.42
Soft clipping Half = O
Soft Clip Full = O
Menu Spring Strength = O.1O
Low speed Spring Coefficent = 1.OO
Low Speed Spring Saturation = O.2O
Steering Gain = 1.5O

Deadzones all ZERO
Steering Sensitivity = 7O
Throttle = 33
Braking = 16
Clutch = 25

Speed Sensitivity = O
Control Filter = O
Damper Sat = O

FF = 1OO
RPM gear = YES
Controller Input Mode = 3
Advanced = ON
Soft Steering Dampening = OFF
Visual Wheel Filter = OFF
Opposite Lock Help = OFF

I wish I would have known you needed these @JoeW ,these are the ones I've been using all along,they do work really well and give a good feel of what the car is doing

Well I've been experimenting with a bunch since the G29 came out and PCars has gone through updates. I had this one for awhile, then tried another set for a bit etc etc until I decided to go back to these for good and it really is the perfect feel for me.

Drivers,

Votes have been tallied and below are your results. The Renault Clio Cup has been replaced by the Mclaren 12C. Its first race is to be held at the grand Silverstone GP circuit. The Mercedes GT3 car will see its fourth and final race at Monza Short this week, which means there may be two new cars for S12R2.

Season 11 full results still to come...

I'm having some issues with tires and CrewChief. It says they are completely gone when the on screen HUD shows a sliver left. When they get to nothing left, my wheel starts to shake when at high speeds. I thought they were done but the AI kept on for another 3-4 laps. What's up with that?

I'm trying to make a 45 min or 1 hour race with two stops. I'm testing tire wear settings to make that work. For GT3 it seems like x2 lasted ~35 minutes. I'm gonna mess around tomorrow with x3 and x4. I'm enjoying emulating races that are happening in real life. Tomorrow is the 6 Hours at the Glen, starting at 10am. Would be fun to do a whole race mimicking them lap for lap

OMG finally a proper battle for the lead of the race, on the track (not in the pits) on the final laps in F1!

Great racing! Controversy! Intrigue! Thrilling!

If you can't watch it you better be dead or in jail and if you're in jail, break out!
