Ha, their loss was my gain. I'll take a first place with 30gallons left in the tank. My tires were done though.

2nd, 2nd, 3rd and a 1st made for my best night ever. Where is Aero when I need to brag?

That first turn at Monza short is one of the toughest corners in the game, imo.

DP, where did you go, I was all ready to congratulate you on another full night, but, alas, you let me down birdman. Not as easy to compete as GT6 eh?

I'm not sure they're even developing this title any further. These type of things should have been fixed s long time ago.
They have confirmed that there is no more development for PC1, whole company is on PC2.

I had connection issues. Don't know what caused it but was instantly disconnected from PSN and my laptop lost wifi. Had a great time again though. I love them race cars!

Maybe just set fuel to slow and then we don't have to worry about it at all?

I'm planning to sit down and input scoring from this week later this evening. There are 0 IR's filed so no delays from that aspect.

If anybody want to throw some cars & tracks out there to put into next weeks vote list don't be shy :)

I was inspired by Blancpain and really like GT3 at Nurburgring Sprint.

Speaking of GT3, the Z4 is probably the most accessible to amateurs, as it allows for TCS, SC, and ABS, and is front engine so it's more predictable in the handling department.

@Lessen if you remember from the pack racing days, I would always suggest shorter tracks as they feel like a better race when you're chasing someone down lap after lap. It's fun to try and perfect a certain turn you see your opponent having trouble with in an attempt to get an overtaking opportunity. Longer tracks can be fun but can be harder to find a rhythm. With longer races having a rhythm is crucial.

Does anyone know if there is a way to activate earbud mic's? I got a new pair with my new phone and apparently Zii could hear me for a few seconds as I plugged them in then he couldn't?

Drivers,

S12R1 is a wrap. Being the middle of summer it is no surprise that folks are taking a break and enjoying the weather. As is generally the case, the fields during these months tend to be smaller than we typically enjoy the rest of the year. Even so there is still plenty fun to be had for the WRC die-hards. :) Here are your Season 12 Round 1 points standings.

The scores for race 2 & 3 are incorrect. I finished 3rd in race 1 & 2, disco'ed 3 & ran out of gas on 4. Points are right just in the wrong place i think.

Yep. I mustakingly went left to right imputing. Race 2 and 3 are flip flopped and i forgot to assign scores for the DCs. I'll fix a bit later on.

Drivers,

Weekly combo voting has concluded and results are posted below. Due to a FnF week, results give us two new cars. The Ford Zakspeed Capri Group 5 and Audi R8 LMP900. That Ford seems to be a slippery thing at Hockenheim, which will really force drivers' smooth inputs. The Audi should be a fast blast at The Glen. With so much grip to be used I think drivers will really be looking forward to that one. :)

New topic: The Zakspreed Capri is actually really nice to drive. It's the Audi that you have to remember has 600 horses.

It's a bit of a handful on a controller but from what I've noticed, everything that oversteers off throttle and is overpowered generally seems to be liked by many.

My name is DesertPenguin, not "many". Sometimes I like high powered cars but overpowered is just that, too much. Unnecessary. My comfort range is 300-500 HP. That's where some great cars are.

So if you can't put your right trigger down off the line without wheelspin, it's too much? So where is that cut off in PCars? Most road cars and anything over 300HP? Most of the vintage race cars?

I wouldn't say "too much". There's no such thing. :) "overpowered" does not mean "too much". It means what it says... There's more power than can be used [by the available grip]. A car being overpowered has just as much to do with tires and chassis as it does actual horsepower.
