No crap for me for quiting last night?
I was a little miffed that we had to break up the room. At start time 9:00 we had a full room....yes. In my opinion, which means nothing by the way. If you are late to the show, let the late folks open their own room. 16 of us were ready to race at 9:00......on time. The fun factor went down to zero for me when the room split up. Instead of having someone to race with, I was just turning laps alone....again.

I am on day four of no smokes and no Bob Marleys......yeah, I'm a little bitchy.
Why you on the cold turkey?

I started feeling sick and had to lay down. Idk what it was. I really wanted to race Lobban and was upset when the room split

Just a great little battle there. Too bad Lessen fell back early or that could have been a five way scrum.

You guys were simply faster. I couldn't run you down until you caught up to the leaders and started battling.

@Mike Lobban technically, nobody was late according to the timing of my messages. However, it is appreciated when folks show up early.

The second Scion race was so fun it should be illegal. @Schmiggz @Alex ONeill @Zii1993 and I were nose to tail most of that race and it was some good clean fun.

I was 4th in that group the entire time just trying to find an opportunity when I managed to get a tiny run on Zii and Alex before the chicane on the last lap. I was past Zii by 75% and almost to Alex when Alex (not wanting to repeat Race 1) moves over a la Rosberg to block. So now we are both far right coming to the chicane (not the optimal line) and both trying to out brake the other. We both blow past the brake point and plow into the sand as Zii goes past. It was hilarious fun!

Those FRS races were the best races! So much fun running nose to tail lap after lap! Thank you for the great racing guys!!

Ok, how about first come first served. After 16 are on the room, start. Stragglers start another room. I was so looking forward to racing in a full room. The timing of your message is irrelevant. We ALL know racing starts at 9, not 9:01 or :02. If you can't be up and ready at the start time, too bad. If you are going to be late, miss the first race and join later. Showing up right at race time and then having to hold up the room to make your settings is unacceptable. If we would have started qualifying at exactly 9, there would have been no issue.

I am not in this for points, better lap times, money or fame. I am also not here to run laps by myself on a track with 6 people on it.

While I am making enemies, GTR, define OOB for me please. I for the life of me, don't know how or why he gets away with it every race with no penalties. If I was Mopar, I would be filing IRs out the yingyang.

On a better note, Jaxon, glad you changed your mind. Good racing.

Anybody got a smoke for me. Arggghhhhh. Day 4.

I just wanted to say Thank you to GTR3123 for posting the live feed of the races last night. I enjoyed watching it.

P.S.
I'd like chat with you (GTR) about what I noticed in the way you drive. Send me a PM.

Sure, give me everything you got.

I don't know which view you are using, but one or two of the views have had that same effect on people. It gives some people a motion sickness feeling. Try a different view it might help.

I can send you one but it'll take a couple days.

In the same vein as @Mike Lobban, why don't you have a pre race confirmation the day of the race so you know roundabouts how many to expect? Then you can pre plan to already have two rooms ready and post who goes where. If everyone doesn't show by 9pm then just combine the rooms.

You know Mike, aside from the satisfaction of building this thing to a larger entity than it once was and hearing all the laughing and satisfaction from the crew on race nights, one of the other nice things about being series director is that I can basically do whatever I want. Yep, I said it. As egotistic as that sounds, it is the plain truth. Sometimes it translates well for individuals, sometimes not so much. That means that I have the freedom to handle different situations as I see fit for the betterment of the series. For instance, If a guy PM's me at 8:58 requesting an invite (because simply getting into our lobby is more cumbersome than GT), I get to make that call. I get to make sure he gets to put all his practice to use and also allow his competitors the opportunity for an increased good time, even if I'm annoyed by his "timelyness". let's see.. what else? Oh! Most everybody here is quite familiar with the SNAIL policy regarding incident discussion in the race lobby. It's pretty cut and dry right?. However, I have for the most part let a lot slide because the discussions that are typically had within this group are largely civil & respectful. These discussions go a long way in building comradery amongst the group and creating a culture that people want to be a part of. On the other end of the spektrum I can also be very stringent on things. Discussing incidents and/or calling out other drivers' racecraft in the open forum has always been largely frowned upon. Not only is it far less personal than talking about it or through private message, but it airs dirty laundry for the entire GTPlanet membership to see. THAT is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Then to top the cake, the nerve to compare yourself in somebody elses shoes to justify filing the IR... IR's that YOU and everybody else have the right to file anyways. This post may just be about the most absurd and contradictory things I've ever read from a veteran SNAIL. This is your ONLY warning concerning incident discussion in the open forum. The next time you feel the need to start ranting about what details YOU think is irrelevent or what YOU think is or is not accetable, you may want to stop and consider who's actually in charge around here. I highly suggest you may want to re-consider your boldness when it comes to "making enemies".

I will discuss this topic no further here. Any questions or comments anybody may have are welcome in my inbox.

Yes great racing to everyone, I'm going to be livestreaming soon on the cars we are voting for and I will be driving them on each course so stay tuned for that I will be sending links out.

1. Desert Penguin... NOBODY touched you on that corner! You went off on your own due to a mistake trying to hold your position.

2. The Scion 2nd race... Yeah! A hell of a 4 way battle. I had to sustain attacks from Zii and Alex that gave me a real hard time ending up passing me when my Scion decided to oversteer in one of those corners followed by a long straight.
Then, the "yellow car" incident happens!
I can tell you it was not one of my most apreciated wins because Alex was being a little faster, passed me and was giving me a hard time to follow him and the "yellow car" definitely took the win from him.

3. This whole "yellow car" incident is a very valuable lesson though. You have to have a whole picture prespective of everything around you specially when you're battling for position while handling back markers traffic. When we were going downhill, I saw the yellow car ahead of us going uphill and an eventual opportunity to attack Alex as soon as we get to it so I kinda kept an eye on him. As we're going up hill I see it overcooking the corner a hundred feet ahead and heading back to track right towards Alex's path and in a split second I realize that it will hit the asphalt on the left so I immediately point my car all the way towards the right side of the track. Alex didn't react so he got stuck in there while I just flew by.
An unfortunate event but surely lesson learned.

Does anyone here follows the blancpain series in Europe?
The Godzilas are dead! It's painful to watch the GTAcademy Nissans struggling without a chance even against AM teams!
Someone was saying that this new GT3 cars generation are in average about 4 seconds per lap faster than what was happening 4 years ago and Nissan is still using the exact same GTR as in the 2012 season!!!
Last year, the GTAcademy car still managed a pole position in Silverstone but last weekend the world saw them starting in a shameful 32nd and 35th!!! And Ordoñez was on board!!!
This is just one example tho, of dying super GT3 cars. Aston Martin and Porsche are long gone too and everybody is kinda waiting and waiting mostly for the German's come back. The 911/997 is proved to be a lost cause as that rear engine placement limited Porsche's development to keep up with the new monsters so the mid engine, (so far) underpowered Cayman looks to be the future if the brand manages to get 550hp under that hood.
Aston Martin doesn’t win a race for 3 years now and worst, there's absolutely nothing in the horizon yet for those Martin fans out there.
BMW came back with the M6, a car still light years away from the dominators Audi and Mercedes and, in my opinion, from the Z4 too. I'm actually stunned with the fact that a brand like BMW let's themselves get into a racing season with a package so poorly developed and competitive.
The guy that follows seems to be McLaren. Those beauties look slower than Audi an Mercedes in almost every track despite the awesome win in Monza.

Yep, starting to sound a little dictatorial. It's your league as you say. Run it the way you want. i have been complaining about said (anonymous) driver for a long time for his constant OOBs, but nothing has been addressed by management, meaning you. You want to suspend me for speaking my mind, go ahead. If you are going to crap on me in our, (your), main thread for speaking my mind, I will reply in the same place. Anonymous is so much faster than me and almost never a factor in my race, an IR filed by me would just be squealing. I made a statement that anonymous #2 must get frustrated following anonymous #1 every night because anonymous#1 doesn't follow the rules set down by management. (You). The inconsistency in rule enforcement is on your shoulders, not mine. I was just pointing out something that should have been addressed from the start of the series.
I'm not the first guy here to be shot down with an idea to better this league. The reason this series is successful is the PEOPLE racing in the only Snail PCars series out there. Don't get me wrong, I like racing with the boys and I like the way the races themselves are set up. But, we have a really good bunch with lots of suggestions and ideas how to make the league better. But again, this is YOUR series, as we have been told many times. A good manager listens to his people and embraces good ideas from them.
I have been conflicted about posting this, but I think it needs to be said.

@Mike Lobban i don't think an IR filed by you would be squealing. We all make mistakes during races, and I tend to give guys a few "freebies" on the OOB. But if someone is abusive of the OOB rule, then definitely a IR should be filed.
Also on my behalf, sometimes the game doesn't allow me to save the replays so I can't submit an IR.

GT Sport news is insane. Can't wait for Nov 15th!

So Blind Mowing I can barely pee straight.

Lessen, I don't think that "my league" and "I do what I want" fits well in the posture of a democratic leader! You should curb your enthusiasm a bit because crashing an empire happens way faster than building one.
We all love you and this league... Don't screw it up.

Well there really aren't any democratic leagues that work.

Generally people can offer suggestions for improvement but it is up to the leader to implement or not.

The leader made the league, people join because they like his format, league gets popular...some offer improvement ideas. If there is truly a majority that are unhappy and the leader chooses not to change then the league will fail. But if most people are happy with it as is then it will continue to flourish.
