Nice pics. 👍 Looks pretty intense when everyone's running so close together early.

For tonight, what exactly is the plan? Were you planning to do full races or half distance? Personally, I would enjoy running some half distance races tonight, just to get a feel for it. Plus I don't know how many people are going to show up. If it's a thin crowd, we may get spread out and it won't be as exciting if we run full races.

Sounds awesome, i should be able to make it tonight. Even if a few minutes late

Great!

How do you know you didn't have 17+ drivers trying to race? The room was full!:banghead: :D

I knew we didn't have 17+ drivers last week because we only had 15 drivers until 7 or 8 minutes after the hour. SprintCupChamp1 sent me a PSN message asking us to wait, which I did. Then I checked the GTP thread and the PSN for any messages. Finally, after using the Jedi mind trick, I decided to start qualifying.

Am I the only one who hates that car?? That time trial is the only damn thing I haven't golded in the whole game. :grumpy: I can't get the car to turn, especially in the final corner.

It takes the last corner fine at exactly 200 mph. Just hold the pedal down. :P

If I try that, I'm on my side grinding against the outside wall.

Actually, my very first try in the time trial, I did in fact do that. Very first turn (or last turn, whatever...you know, before the lap started). Didn't even make it to the straightaway.

Guess it's a controller limitation on steering lock then. :P
That's what I was thinking. When I looked at the top times for friends, I'm the first person using a controller. I can keep up when I see the others' racing lines up until the final corner, then they all pull away as I slide up towards the wall (those using the wheel of course).

Don't be proud, use all the aids like I do. :sly:

I think I'm sitting at 44.6 with no aids. Go for it. :P
Yeah. You and your wheel. :sly:

Edit: Got it! ASM did the trick. I was slightly slower in turn 1, but it did wonders throughout the rest of the corners, especially the final one. I swallowed my pride, but will gladly take the extra 400,000 credits that I couldn't achieve earlier with just a silver. Time: 45.975.

Edit 2: Found this funny. Other than myself (thanks to the aid), you can tell the wheel users from the DS3'ers. Looking at around at least 2.5 seconds. That's a pretty big gap. Did PD even test the Chaparral with a DS3? :odd:

I really don't want to, but I could use the extra dough (credits, if you will). Do the aids really work?

Yes, they work well. I even use driving line for cars I've never driven and tracks I've never driven on. But, I only use them for seasonals.
