make sure you initialize them properly. when the game is loading, after the wheel rotates, depress each pedal fully to the floor so the game uses the entire range of motion. I never had that problem at all. my problem was always with them either sticking or activating without being pressed. But opening them up and messing with them always fixed it for a month or two...
Yes I have to do this or the pedals do not work at all! I think the encoders in the pedals are just plain worn out!
I am still waiting to see if any logitech wheels will work with the PS4 before I spend the big big $$$ to get a new wheel

They make a Logitech to PS4 adepter that you can buy.. its over 100 dollars but better then switching to a new wheel (unless the new wheel is better :P)

FYI: i had to shave the little white gears down on the underside. That was the best fix to my braking issue i performed. I had a video of it somewhere, if i find it, maybe i'll shoot you a link. But my issue was related to the brakes/gas activating a little when i wasn't depressing them. Your issue sounds different.

wow that is a great device Freind, although it will cost about $50 -$60 more than the new T80 wheel which is supported by PS4 and can work on both the PS4 and PS3! and is a huge upgrade from my DFGT!!! IF I can Convince them I qualify for economy shipping!!

didn't even know that was possible (yet) since their was a lot of talk that Logitech wheels wouldn't be compatible with the PS4.

Great Find! Ill have to buy one maybe once GT7 goes out on the PS4. 👍
didn't i read somewhere that the force feedback doesn't work with that adapter?

Edit:
Scorpion, I heard the T80 was junk, so make sure you research some reviews to make certain you'll be happy. If it was me (and it was 9 months ago), put that $100 in savings and wait until you have enough saved to get a better wheel (unless your DFGT dies of course, then you're stuck!)

It's PD's suggested gear you should be in for the upcoming corner. I have mine turned off, but if you're on a track you're not too familiar with, it can help you gauge how tight of a corner is just ahead.

When I had that issue, the cause was the center bushing of the potentiometer being worn which caused the inner copper wiper to touch the outer contact surface. I used a small screwdriver to bend the wiper to compensate for the bushing.

TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX RACING SERIES

February 14, 2015 | Valentines Day Special Event | Six - 20 Minutes Races

Lancia DELTA HF Integrale Evoluzione '91 (must use obnoxious colors - don't forget your #s) | Sport Medium

Round 1: Ascari Full Track - Regular 20 minute race

Round 2: Apricot Hill Raceway - Forward / Night - Night Race

Round 3: Toscana - Rally Race (you will need dirt tires)

Round 4: Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps - Time / 100° Weather (you will need full wet tires)

Round 5: London - Regular 20 minute race

Round 6: Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit - Time Change (and a surprise)

Races will start at the regular time 10pm Eastern

DRIVERS MEETING

The "Golden Rule" of Motorsports

"It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free."

Rules

You are expected to follow The "Golden Rule" of Motorsports and adhere to the GTPlanet Online Racing Rules and exercise Good Racecraft at all times, especially in turn 1.

"Rubbin"

This is a non-contact sport. Let me put it another way, if you are "rubbin", you ain't racing in this league. We will not tolerate individual drivers taking the fun out of racing for everyone.

First Turn

You are not going to win the race on the 1st turn or the 1st lap. Therefore, it is the policy of this league for you to hold your position in turn 1. Holding your position in the first turn is limited to the first turn on the first lap. You must hold your position through the 1st turn and make no attempt to advance it unless the following situations occur: 1) The driver directly in front of you is asleep on the start. 2) The driver directly in front of you runs off course with at least 2 wheels off the track. 3) Obvious race incidents that must be avoided. Other drivers may draft past you before the approach (braking zone) to turn 1 if it can be done incident free. In other words, if you are able to fully draft past someone without incident or disruption to the other driver(s) with a reasonable distance before approaching the first turn you may.

This rule is in place for 2 reason: (1) to avoid incidents in the first turn, and (2) so that drivers doing their part to avoid incidents in the 1st turn of are not taken advantage of. There is no sense in causing an incident in the congestion of the first turn. Furthermore, it is inappropriate to take advantage of other drivers doing their part to keep turn 1 incident free. Once again, you may not attempt to pass once in the braking zone of the 1st turn of the 1st lap. If a complaint is filed, the decision we make will be one that promotes an incident free first turn.

Dive Bombing

Dive bombing is unacceptable
, and only results in accidents. It is not the same as passing under braking. Dive-bombing is when a trailing car intentionally brakes late to dive underneath the car in front of them as they are turning into a corner. The trailing driver must move to the low groove for at least 3-4 seconds prior to corner entry, so that the leading driver can see the trailing drivers intentions in his mirror. However, running the low groove is not a guarantee that he will allow you to pass, it is only an indication that you wish to pass him on the low side.

Procedures

Until everyone has accepted the TURTLE RACING LEAGUE "Community" invitation and we have more experience with the "Community" function we will run the races in an open lobby. Go to "Open Lobby" and check the "Friends Rooms Only" box and look for TURTLE RACING LEAGUE - FLEX RACING SERIES and enter. Races will begin at 10pm Eastern time.

Connection Issues

Please follow the procedures below to help minimize connection issues.
Step 1: Reboot your modem/router
Step 2: Reboot your PS3
Step 3: Clear your GT6 in game System Cache

Pit Stops

Drivers need to be very careful entering the race track when exiting the pit. Please look at your map to see if other drivers are near the pit exit. Drivers exiting the pit need to stay in the pit exit lane until the track is clear of cars on the track. Cars on the track have the right of way.

Quitting

Drivers are expected to finish races no matter what position they are in. Rage quitting is frowned upon! :grumpy:

Microphones

Although you are welcome to use microphones during the race, they should only be used to communicate your proximity to other drivers in order to avoid an incident. Otherwise, either mute them or make sure any background noise in non-existent.

Reminders

1: Hold your position and do not attempt advance in turn 1 of lap 1
2: If you go off track make sure the track is clear before you re-enter
3: If you cause an accident you must wait and give the position back
4: Watch for cars on the track coming out of the pit, stay to the inside
5: Keep Microphones muted during race unless advising your proximity
6: Drivers being lapped must let lapping drivers by without contesting

Race Incidents

Legitimate complaints are encouraged, they insure a better racing environment for everyone. Complaints should be addressed by "Private Message" to the race steward of the race in which the incident occurred. Please include race number, lap number, and time of incident. A ruling will be announced after a video review by an independent steward. All racing incidents or racing related issues shall be dealt with privately and under no circumstance mentioned publicly.

Final Note

Race Clean and Have Fun!
