how do you race other cars in the 400m 1/4. i got it yesterday an i can onlky race myself can you even race other cars. help

It's not called NOS!! More like Nitrous Oxide and whats is the point of it other than giving you a limited time boost, also YO is not a word :dunce: Nitrous is bad for you. Be a real racer. and a touring car does not need nitrous its already good

you answered your own question there too. nitrous is for a limited time boost lol, way to think that through. oh, and guess what? real racers use nitrous too, and i think it's pretty obvious that even a touring car is faster using NOS Y0!! lol

I thought it was a real driving simulator not just some stupid game whats the point of even playing it if you take out the realism.
i dont see Keichi Suchiya using it nor Manabu Orido so why use it when in real life all that it does is mess your engine up!! :grumpy:

have you ever been to a drag strip? nitrous is a very common thing. even in the pro's. and if you know how to build an engine right with forged parts, nitrous will give you an edge over the competition. anybody who says otherwise is just jealous because there car cant handle it, or they've been beat by some sleeper with nitrous. get the facts!

The question isnt if i have not been on a drag strip but have you been in a circuit, street race, touge no and if nitrous was the best thing ever than i would see it in F1 and Racing Cars.(circuit)
also i think you just use it cause you cant tune your transmision right nor your suspension so its your one way shot and you go for it, that doesnt really show your real skill!!

i dont have nitrous. if i could afford it i would. i have a '88 dodge daytona shelby-z. it has a 5-speed getrag transmission, centerforce stage one clutch, all designed for 3,000 RPM launches. carol shelby tuned suspension, 2.2L turbo fourbanger making 270WHP and 325FT.LBS torque. if i pulled up next to you at a light you would'nt look at this car twice. i built a low 13 second sleeper for under $3,000. if thats not skill than what is. i know it sounds like bragging, but i dont care! im proud of what ive accomplished. and if i had nitrous i would use it and be even faster. and thats what a tuner does. squeezes ever little pony out of that engine he can. using whatever is available. what else you got?!?! :cool:

My dad's 'Busa runs low 6's.(last I saw,It was 6.375@175.35mph)Turbo,Nos,Suspension lowered(the bike barely clears the ground).475lbs down from the stock 528.Extended Arm.YOU wouldn't look twice at IT.No offense ment,no harm done. but.... If it was my bike you most likely wouldn't pull up to find me in not a car but Instead a bike, and if a fool was actin one,we would learn him the rules of the road.:)Oh and stock most bikes of that class run about 9.8-11.50.:D NO Offense. Thas some nice tunin' ya got thur partna.Keep up the good work:D:tup: he spent about about $20,000 damnit.WHY CAN"T IT JUST BE 6.000!!!:banghead: dont mind me :ill:
 
wow looking at all your times , very impressivestuff but my fastest is a 10.437 in a wrx c but i cant get the hang of using nos could some1 explain it to me

pretty cool car but i like the fact that you haven't put nitrous on your keep it that way, oh yeah and have you ever been to japan to see how crazy they are,Top End :crazy: , Sexy knights, now those cars, teams i really respect they really know how to rip the road in the tokyo expressway. also in the mountain.

I would love to see you in the feature with my car, i am not too big of a fan of 1/4 mile times as i see them pointless to do.

I dont see any of the tuner cars in GT4 with nitrous originally in them :sly:
 
first post-got intrested when i saw this thread and thought id join the foum..

I've been working on the 1/4 mile vegas strip for bout 1/2 an hour and my best time so far is 0'07.373 with the suzuki ESCUDO Dirt Trial Car '98

EDIT: if u need proof ill ask my dad if he knows where the digi cam is

il buy some ... i got some cash :) from enduro and i wana waste some for fun ... too much serious racing... il race some cars for top speed and 1/4 mile and sell them for 10.km!!

All you guys do your times with Impreza's? Where have all the Skyliners gone?
Well anyway, I started that fun today and got my Skyline R34 VSpec || Nur fully modded (911 bhp) go around 8.5**. And My RX-7 Type RS (around 600 bhp) did it in 9.260. Notice that I didn't do too much gear tuning or anything. Just put the autotune in 25 and NOS to the maximum.
But next week I'll concentrate(?) to the Skyline. Hopefully manage to get it under 8.4. And maybe I'll do an Impreza project too...
