I would tell you "You win some, you lose some." Lucky for me if it turned up fake...I took the guy on the Real riders for $1

Amazing grabs, diabolicwyvern.

And I don't think AOS- was being serious, guys. I figured the smiley to be a dead giveaway, but I could be wrong... Confused I am.

On another note, I bought some new cars. Been finding a lot of errors lately, but I'm not going to post them, because I'm not sure if anyone here is into errors. So, I'll keep it simple with these.

Both FTE wheel variations. The new wheels are the hard to find ones, I believe.

And the new Ferrari FF with a Mazda 2. I don't ever buy Matchbox, but this Mazda 2 is awesome! Love the large Mazda side tampo.

And non-serious I was, good catch M-POWER. 👍

I was a bit skeptical of the white Gallardo at first because the coat of paint looked like tons and tons of acrylic washes because it was so flat and it didn't look entirely clean, but the packaging showed a white car so whatever. I hope it's a rare one! :dopey:

I'm so excited. I won two 50+ car lots off the E last week.
They were shipped economy :banghead: but hopefully they'll be arriving before the weekend!

Borrowed this picture from the listing.

I bought it for the yellow Longshot at the end of the row. Just at quick glance, there are several cars worse $3-5, yet I scored the lot for $12.65. Heck, the Lt. Blue bywayman is nearly worth what the lot went for. Consider me pleased!

Should add that with shipping the lot was just $24.

I shelled out $7 for Ghostbusters(Hot Wheels), and got that one in today. I wanted another Ghostbusters, along with the A-Team Van to go on display at my work with the Back to the Future car. 80's trio!

I like the Mazda 2, too. I think it's the white wheels that does the trick. 👍

It's supposed to be flat white.

I doubt it, all of my local stores have had tons of those white (and not flat white as R1600Turbo said) Gallardos, and almost none of the other colors. I still haven't bought one yet though.

Oh, I know what you mean. Hotwheels should at least paint there cars in two coats, because you can see the silver base underneath. Lovely pictures BTW.

Especially on yellow cars! :grumpy:

thanks for the compliment.

hey guys
I'm making a new thread at the hot wheels group
go there to see it

I just gave a detailed response to a previous question about models that need to be removed from existence! I could not pick just one...I had to pick five categories and then a worst of all time! Epic stuff

Well this lot arrived yesterday. If you look closely, there is a Mtflk Lime '67 Camaro w/black roof in the lot. I had no idea what it was from the original picture, but apparently it was only available in the 1983 Hot Wheels 15th Anniversary Belt Buckle 3-Pack which if you look at the picture below, is probably where the yellow Longshot also in the lot is from!

I was quite lucky this was missed by other bidders. The Longshot was available on a card by itself, but the Camaro....much rarer sight.

HOLLY CRAP that is THE STEAL of the Century. Got damn. Holly hell. Dude you REALLY lucked out, there are amazing cars in there, that Camaro and yellow Long Shot are very rare, they are easily worth twice what you paid for the entire lot! Rest isn't bad either. But afaik, the Long Shot was the car that was available only with the belt buckle, and the Camaro was available in card, but is very rare. In any case, what a bunch. I'm missing a few in there (or have them but in bad condition). The blue Super Van... well, all the blue cars in there, even the Jaguar, red Cannonade, Mountain Dew stocker and CalCustoms Stutz are the jewells! The White Porsche isn't common either.

aaah freaking high peso-to-dollar ratio, I have been away from E-Bay for a while now -_-

I have 6 Camaro's that are just like that. All 1967's. I also have another red one and 2 black ones.

The long shot definately comes on card alone. there was 1 on ebay i lost out on a couple weeks ago.
PS: When did you come across six of the mtflk camaros...even if they were a mainline release, though ive not seen one carded alone, they are certainly uncommon.

Ive been scooping up lots left and right...this is just the 2nd mtflk green camaro ive seen.

PPS: My camera is broken! it wont read sd cards presently. its a 10 mp cannon from several years ago. just did some quick research for replacement and...HOLY MOTHER cameras are cheap now?

Just like this...that I'd have to see. It is very rare. Not one loose or carded alone on eBay or TTP. It may be similar in color, but this is the only version, the buckle car, with a black roof. Its been released in an assortment of colors, but no other Mtflk versions with this particular shade of green. And black? This car was solid black once, 2005 Real Rider release. (And I'm missing it. :( )

I'd bet your collection (lol) that he is refering he has 6 Camaros. Only not that version. It's always like dat.

Go ahead and bet my collection. Even if he wins, you'll never figure out where I hide my stash. What...you want to check my basement for it. Ummm...thats going to be tough because there was a flood and you need a kayak or canoe or somthing just to maneuver down there. Oh...you have scuba gear. Good news! We drained the basement, but in the process the stair collapsed so now we'll never find out if its there.

Oh, and too the point. I figured if he had several '67s they must be mainline stuff...just felt like stirring the pot. :mischievous:

Hey, guys. Went to Toys'r'us yesterday and found the new 458, which imo is awesome! Then I headed over to a pharmacy that I know gets Hot Wheels, and I found two reg. T-Hunts. Good day overall.

I've given up on the 240Z too. Has any of you guys seen the A-Team? I'm still looking. How about the Kenmeri Skyline?

I've been looking for weeks for the A-Team, still nothing. I'll be making the rounds this weekend so I'll keep everyone posted. Still haven't seen the Kenmeri Skyline or the new 458. Of course I'd love to find the Datsun as well, but I told myself that would never happen from the beginning. I haven't seen a single T-hunt of any kind in person ever, so it's kind of a long shot.

Toys'r'us should have the 458 Italia and the Kenmeri Skyline. Each one I've checked had a new long two-sided shipper. I've heard that many Target's have also just restocked.

Btw guys, November 5th is Kmart Collector Day. Want to open a fresh case? Then come! :D
