Curse you @yabiggoose. Great purchases mate. 👍
You can't trick me, Jarrodji!

Get what you're saying though. Just like the Bellett that's being released next year, a grill can make a huge difference to the appearance of a car.

Looks amazing, never would have thought that you could utilize K'nex in that way. Excellent job. 👍

Quick pic of what was under the tree for me today. Pics of the thing assembled with some cars in the next day or two. 👍

You must be a die-cast sensei. Got it in one.
Damn, dude. 3 for 3, I like them all. I have the same color GT40 & Mustang in green. They are one of the few castings I'm damn near 100% satisfied with. Really like the Jeep, too. 👍

And I am looking forward to this. Take a bunch. 👍

You are right. I ran into the green one locally(my fav color, too), but it just has the paper box, no acrylic case. I haven't pulled the trigger on the Jeep, but man, from the pics, they look really detailed. 👍

I'll be sure to make an effort on the pictures instead of just using my iPod lol

Those aren't the least bit crappy. Even in their current condition, brush on some weathering makeup and you'll have some beaten up off roaders.

So I sent the refund to the naggy son of a dog, to uphold my promise to refund on Christmas day. I in return left notes in each refund enticing him to come clean, either now or whenever he gets his crap. Granted I didn't fork out a mortgage to get all those S15s, NSXs and GT-Rs, I really would've like to at least make back the money I spent to acquire those, never mind the shipping.

But yeah, knew you guys would like the display shelf. Thanks, all. Also, screw lego :P

I'm now in the process of making room for a 32" flat screen TV in my room, after going from a 19" box TV. All the HWs on my wall are to come down. During the day, I'll be sharing some random cars.

See all the progress and pics on EC's facebook album!

Thing hangs above my bed. The space was originally reserved for large-prints of future digital drawings.... but it seems what kind of person I am now is no longer what I used to be. Went from an artist to a boy obsessed with toys.

Man...AOS i thought my wall was cool...But damn!!!

Is it really worth spending over $28 for a TLV? Because my dad thinks it's a total rip-off for 1:64 scale cars.

I just paid $127 for 5 of them + a Kyosho. I usually try to keep them under $20 each, but this time I splurged.

Worth it it considering I paid $100 for the OH5 variation Bluebird Wagon. (yes, I know)

I dropped $50-something for rare Kyoshos.

Non-collectors are bound to say something like this is expensive. When you study into prices for a bit, chances are, you become more understanding of the reason why an item hits that price.

Done, well okay four, so not exactly a bunch. Still got to add the little miscellaneous pieces to the office and garage but for now this is what it looks like.
I will not mention an Alto. I will not mention an Alto. I will not mention an Alto.

Nice Altos. 👍

Dammit. :ouch:

Anyways, that diorama looks amazing.

It depends. New, or discontinued castings?

If new, I'd concur that $28 is too high. TLV do have small number of releases costing that much, but thankfully, that's kinda rare. Most new castings I buy are in the $15 range. Discontinued castings, or coveted castings in short supply, they can go much higher, but that's a same story with any collectibles.

Wide. IT'S SO WIDE! Makes my Shell station look like Johnny's old 19-in TV. I'll now standby for the update on how difficult the microscopic furniture's & things were to install with your fingertips. They like to fall on their sides.

It also helps if you are actually into the hobby? If you don't go gaga over vintage Japanese cars, I don't think you'd realize how awesome it is to see someone is selling uber premium castings of cars like Suzuki Alto. $9 for the 1/64 casting of my latest Isuzu Gemini. It would come across as ripoff to many. Frigging awesome & unique addition to the collection for me. :sly:
I don't know about you, but we had very little doubt.

:P

I wouldn't doubt it.
I so wish you bought one. In person, they are so tiny. Some of these cars, they are so finely detailed & add that to the close-up photography, it's hard to grasp their true scale sometimes. Which is one of the reasons why this is one of my favorite pics:

LV-98c Honda T360 PR-Car

Like with any hot wheels/minicars, TLVs have hits & misses, but T360's so small & execution's so money(no pun intended). *red marking says "Honda" in Japanese(katakana).

Believe me, one of the very first cars I plan on buying online is an Alto.

And that T360 might as well be a 1:87.

Well the invoice finally came in, so those three are on their way to me :)

I've got this box with some made in England matchbox, original corgi, some lesney and some 70s hot wheels.

Only problem? I hid it safely. So safely I can't find the bloody thing 🤬

Congrats on the awesome purchases & also the highly secretive & high security toy car box.
I seriously need to buy a TLV. Big time.
I can't believe it, but AmiAmi still have two Altos available. Of course, Japan Booster on eBay can always get you one, too. They both accept PayPal, when you finally set up an account. :P

P.S. AmiAmi is on a minor S-List. I just discovered that they were selling Choro Q Transmormers, and two that I would've been interested in are of course sold out(Optimus Prime & 280Z Police Car). I did preorder the Lancia Stratos for January though.

Edit: I guess it's no big deal. It's the new crap Hollywood Transformers.

I didn't even know they had these things:

getIm.php

I'm not a fan or anything, but man, I wish I had the two on the left. I have no idea who the third one is.
