Moooo indeed, what a really nice piece of kit. Kinda uncommon for me to see such small Countach scale models, but that one looks really good. Not sure about the colour though...

The Peanut Gallery set is almost tempting. What I find amusing these days is that I'm finding premium HWs at work for only $2. The muppets set with the VW T1? Absolutely no T1s left. As expected.

The only problem with the set, in my opinion, is the Snoopy '64 GMC Panel. It's huge! It's definitely not to the same scale as the others. It's a brick. A damn good looking brick. But a brick nonetheless.

Well yeah, the only one that would save it's ass if theyre were in my hands is the Retro Thunderbird. All others would be zamac by now.

Quick question: Would I have to remove the Real Riders to strip them? Noob question, I know.

@Ken Koios Yea, you'd have to separate the body from the chassis and dip it in. It's a must with the more premium models with a clear coat, but the mainline tampos can be removed without separating, and i assume with enough acetone and patience mainline paint could theoretically be stripped without separating

Well, considering that you have to completely break open the car to strip them, BUT the thing you're gonna strip is the body and not the chassis, no you don't need to remove the wheels. A quick look at the first post of the customizing thread will come in handy (:

I've read over that post the moment I started to think about customizing. I guess i didn't retain it all though. I'll probably be starting that aspect of collecting within the month.

Thank you and @OtakuTaikun for the quick responses.

haha that's a dangerously addicting game man. even detailing is pretty fun and good stress relief.

That's what I've heard. But with being unable to truly walk for a week after my surgery, I need something to do.

@Gotbeefboy564 Just like @Ameer67 said, household items like sharpies are a great start! Nail polish remover around? if you're careful enough you can remove the tampos from mainlines! If you have some spare cash, heading to an arts supply store or hobby shop to get some ink pens are a good investment. Once you get a basic drill though, the customization options that open up are amazing.

I was just about to single that car out. It's a cool series to start with, but that GMC Panel is something else. You have to clean the garage, or fix something around the house now....... Maybe it was a bribe to start with.
You can probably do some basic stuff with some supplies you have around your house.
Dunno.... He could be blind in both eyes or something, you don't know!
