Awesome stuff. The problem with these as you say is how hard they are to come by, and when they do pop up, they command good money. I only have one of these, a RX3 with impoissibly big fender flares a friend of mine bought for me at the L.A. HW Convention for like $7 because, well, the guy just had it there.

Indeed more of these please. I remember when one was the Lamley header!

Pics of said RX-3?

Eh, I don't think I have of mine, but it looks like this one submitted to the Lamley police car custom contest, just take away all the police stuff but leave the black overfenders and that's pretty much it.

Will try to snap a few shots today but I can't promise anything because I'm gonna be very busy with the Detroit stuff.

Eh, it's alright. I'm gonna pass on it.

It's quite better in real life, altough something that has always bothered me of Aoshimas is how they managed to do pretty good replicas of classic japanese wheels, but none of them are spoked, they are just pieces of plastic, as can be seen in Lamley's post. If they had holes they would be miles more awesome.

I'm not liking the bonnet livery either.

Stratos, Saleens, XJ220s... Bro, I have a lot of cars you'll love to have that I don't want anymore. Aren't you interested?

Including shipping, definitely less than what you're paying wherever you bought those cars. What colours they are won't be much of a concern as I'm comforting saying there's probably a whole bunch you don't already have. Plus, we're only 2 lakes away from each other. Still interested?

That RX-3 clearly was bought from Jeff Koch. Look, you had a connection to him and didn't even know it!

And yeah, it was the purple Yonmeri Skyline we put in the header. We have only put three up there - the Yonmeri, a red TLV Porsche 911, and the current resident, the Kyosho Beads Kenmeri.

Maybe it is time for a change. I really have to think about what to put up there. I still like seeing the Kenmeri.

:0 omfg really? I remember the guy also bought a TLV off the same booth now that I think about it. Maybe you're right. brb gonna fangasm a bit.

*shrieks away*

Also, don't change the Kenmeri. It's perfect.

That is a great piece dude, specially with whote wheels. All white-wheel Real Rider cars are much more rarer than the grey ones. Where did you get it?
I honestly have no idea. I was born in 1992. I think it's been with me since but like I said I have no idea.

Those ones are the best. I have a thing for UH wheels because of a certain Splittin' Image II that I still have.

Also, you're only younger than me by a year. Coolio!

aoshimo's,
Should be Aoshima.
""Grachan" (or "Garuchan")" - Should be Gurachan.
About half an hour ago (6:30pm Monday) I got my Kyosho Beads model :D
One of the nicest cars I've seen in this whole thread. Congrats! :)👍

A6!!!!!!! I said you weren't helpinggggggggg!!!! Two IDxs!? Wasn't one enough for you!?

(Angry) jokes aside, damm man, those have to be one of the best modern TLVs ever made. Yes, they're also one of the most modern (year-wise) cars ever made, and they're not even production cars (yet) but its popularity caused Tomica to bite the bullet again and create Nismo R35 models. The fact that this car single-handledly let Tomica to get out of their confort zone and go modern is amazing enough on its own, let alone the R35 becoming a thing And we all know how those will look like...
Good points. 👍 The Tokyo IDx is actually from few months ago. I just wanted to take pics of them together to show the different front-end.
The one to Australia arrived exactly 2 months after I sent it out. No word on the one to Brunei, and I'm confident the one to South Korea has not yet arrived either. That buyer was the most understanding of them all. All the ones to the States have arrived, even though some of them don't check their emails to confirm if their stuff arrived. The guy from Mexico has not responded ever since he opened a case.
Did you ended up refunding those people after all? Did you get any of that money back?
If you speak of the curvy triangle, I'm curious to why Japanese police cars use that.
Me, too. Been that way since before I was born. Very unique, but world wide, I think I like all police cars. :P
I've never heard of this one. What kind is that?

Should be Aoshima.

Should be AOS.

I only refunded the impatient Thai guy. The Mexican has not spoke up again, I presume that arrived just fine, having to cross two borders. Australian guy was patient enough (he has decent taste with his custom cars as I found out recently). Brunei guy hasn't spoke up either.

Nothing has been given back yet. I even sent a report on that one buyer, but I'm comfortable with the idea eBay didn't bother to investigate any further, because we did arrange an agreement after all. A lesson learned that only cost me all my R35s, NSXs and S15s. Only the green Speed Machines NSX is my biggest loss, but I remember I only paid diabolicpanda $5 for it, so that's nothing to cry about.
