@a6m5 correction made on "Gurachan". When the system doesn't recognize it I don't see the type either.

And Cano answered your question on the Yonmeri. I have two Aoshima and two Kyosho. I will try to get pics later.

I know the feeling. I try to catch as much as I can, but you know how it is. :D

Yeah, very cool. Looking forward to your post!

Anyone know why this is such a heavy casting?

The Tokyo IDx is actually from few months ago. I just wanted to take pics of them together to show the different front-end.

Actually I'm glad I didn't get the Tokyo show version of the IDx when it came out. Much prefer the grill on N/A version.

I thought I like Tokyo a bit more, but I'm not sure. Again. On the Freeflow, I definitely prefer the NA version.

On the Freeflow I thought that getting the Nismo might give me the urge to get the Freeflow to go with it. It hasn't, Freeflow looks pretty meh in comparison.

Also, got rid of your Oregon avatar pretty quickly, eh? :P

I agree with the meh.

Nice, Jarrod. Really nice...........

I'm barely a casual observer anyway. Not a huge fan of the Ducks(or any college), and couldn't care less about football...... but it still bothers me they choked AGAIN on the big stage. :grumpy:

*This was the first ever college football playoffs. I just learned that Ohio & Oregon also played each other in the first ever college basketball playoffs(1939). We won that one. :P

More stuff from eBay. Not as exciting as last time though.

A Citroen GS Camargue concept by Majorette. These seem to be pretty abundant on eBay. I like it, it's pretty daft.

Possibly one of the most underwhelming Siku's. The casting is actually quite nice. The details are quite good and the paint has good cover, so you don't get dark lines of zamac showing through the paint (Looking at you Hot Wheels).
I also like how the interior and folded roof are separate pieces of plastic. Some detailing would probably do wonders. And nicer wheels of course.

This one I was most excited about. Probably the one car everyone with a collection of Lesney's owns.
@Cano (or anyone that might know). What's the red base all about? Most of these seem to have an unpainted base. Is this one perhaps a later/earlier version or is it just a variation?

Also, I know all my pictures are slanted. My photography has really been going downhill lately. :sly:

Dude, awesome.

The Camargue is one of the most common vintage Majorettes to find as, as you can imagine, it's sleek styling and opening hatch made it a hit with kids. However, it also has its hard-to-find variations, and I had never ever seen yours. It looks really cool, and quite minty. Great grab. $?

As for the Siku, I hear you about the nice casting thing. I have a 930 Turbo I found completely covered in a red gooey that once was paint or something. After stripping it, indeed, the mold is quite nice. Haven't done anything with it for like 4 years.

And the Lesney. From what I gather from poking around a bit, because I had absolutely never seen one, it is actually the last or one of the last itterations of that casting from Lesney. Look:

You could ask Lambert to ask one of his expert Matchbox collaborators, maybe they'd already made a semblance about the Lesney Miura in Lamley. @jtl46, something on this?

Could not find anything else about it, and no signs of Bulgaria releases either, which had an odd habit of reviving old Lesney-era cars well into the 80s.

Again, this was multiple listings from the same seller.

Thanks a bunch for the info about the Miura. Kind of a cool story about this one is that my dad used to have one as a kid, but lost it. He wasn't sure if it was a Lesney or not (even after seeing pictures), but when I showed him this one he was immediately sure.
Mystery solved and he was pretty happy to see it too.

Cool. Now ask him if it was the one you bought or one of those multiple variations of the car in that link

Nope, I know it definitely had an unpainted base.
Doubt he remembers the color of the interior or any other specifics.

It might have been gold/unpainted base then. Still, cool car. I have one too, but mine is covered in marker. Chome solid disc wheels, yellow. Gonna straight-restore it I think, so as to keep the distinctive wheels.

By 'gonna straight-restore it' you mean 'gonna add it to the growing to-do list', eh? :P

Super cool tires!
Gonna buy me one of these shortly. Will check Toys R Us this weekend and if they don't have it, off to eBay.
Damn. It does look extra sweet in that pic. Not that I need another one, but if I run into one at TRU, I don't think I can say no. :D
