Which one? I hope we aren't talking about that 1/43 scale. That was nice, but 1/43 isn't my thing.....
Ya same thing with me. They're nice castings but hot wheels don't fit on the trailer. Those were my first 1/43 scale cars.

I'm officially back in the 1:64 game! done with 1:43

Don't.

Despite the fact I haven't had time to get your package out, you still have a transporter that needs to find it's way into the box with the help of $10. ;)

Dude. Remember how I told "yeah Imma send it to you in the afternoon" and stuff? Well, after a sudden work rush (you know, the classic "yeah remember the article you needed to give us monday? It's for today at most") consumed my entire day yesterday, I was go nna try and send it over to you just now but surprise, since we changed the Paypal pass when my phone was stolen, I can't remember it for the life of me. Will send it over in the afternoon today, promise

And you'd better show us those TLVs! :mischievous:

Yeah, don't worry, once he hands them over I'll take some pics. I'll also try to have him come here and post the sudden TLV collection he's ammassed in like two weeks.

White Isuzu in the background of all my pics have plastic body. It's by F-Toys. Here's the 2000GT I sold.

plastic =/= resin.

Ah, true. TLVs are remarkable, regardless of scale. 👍

#truefact

But yeah, I am still mesmerized by the quality of TLV cars, neither me or my parents can quite believe that they are the same size as a Hot Wheels car such as my Tesla Roadster. It's mindblowing, and part of the reason why I now love TLVs so much. 👍

Edit: Anyone who is interested. Keep an eye on the Dream Tomica range. Initial D Skyline GT-R V-Spec being released in May.
Link to Tomica releases for April to June.

F:censored: yeah, the new Daihatsu Copen! I don't even mind that it is a more basic Tomica, that's still very cool.

Also, Kazato's GT-R? Yup, that's another one for the "dream list", still remember the song that played when it first appeared in Initial D... Gave me goosebumps.

Those two service cars are really nice, the diorama defintely gives it a special touch. I really like the first one in particular, what car is it?

The release of Batch K obviously was the best indicator that L was coming, but we had heard no specific confirmation from Mattel. But now we have. Slated for March, this is what is coming:

’76 Chevy Chevette
2010 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake
Datsun 240Z
Datsun Bluebird 510
Subaru Brat

JDM City. We're probably never going to see it until like July, but I'll be hoarding Bluebirds. Har har har.

It's all about saving for mods. Especially the 510. It's been 3 years since a non-limited edition came out.

 True, but I suppose I'd rather get this than pay $5 for the mainline, under the idea that one had to find a BB510 to mod.

I got more Made in France Majo's!

BMW 325

Might not be very visible on the picture, but the proportions are way off and it looks a bit silly.
The tampo is actually not damaged. Looks like it was a factory error. All of these cars are perfectly mint other than that. 👍

Ford Sierra
IMG_6190.jpg

Awesome 👍

And as for my favorite, a really cool car in real life and as a toy car, the Saab Turbo.
IMG_6193.jpg

Even better, this one came with a boat!
IMG_6194.jpg

I love boats!
IMG_6195.jpg

But that's it for now. I also got a Matchbox three pack with a BMW Z8, a Lamborghini Miura and a Porsche Panamera (I think?), but those did not come with a boat and are therefore not worthy of pictures. :sly:

Lol, that BMW has got to be one of the worse Majorette castings. That one and the Sierra are from the very very very late France era. By then Majorette was just about to go banckrupt, bought by Idon'trememberwho and go to China. Still, great grabs, I have that same Saab and int's saweeet indeed.

Hah! Come back when you've discovered the Spacegoat.

Ooooh someone needs a Goat.

But do you have the boat??!!

Yeah, the BMW is pretty awful. Ah well, I don't regret grabbing it. I'll grab any BMW's I can just because that's my 'main' collection. It's a shame really. If the proportions weren't way off it'd be really nice. I kind of like how they used the black plastic for the front and rear fenders. It means that the front has some really nice details.

No boat, grabed it at a fleamarket for $2, mint.

Also, for you and only you to peruse:

Hah, I got mine with the boat for 1.50€! Which depending on exchange rate may or may not be less than $2
Also I had to pay for shipping.... you know what, forget it :P

And that's a nice Tomica. Nice thing about Majorette's and Siku's is I can get them for decent prices from France and Germany. Tomica... less likely. But I'll keep my eyes out *checks ebay, sees there's a newer TLV 3 series and curses at Cano for the temptation*

came in today, TL and TLV neo, and another box full o' TLV Neo.

:D and some ebbro... but that's for the scale model thread and not pictured...(i lied about being done with 1:43 :sly: @ a6m5,cano

You lucky son of a water gun, there's some good stuff in there (probably ALL of it is good stuff, but you never know).👍

I see an Orochi in there, as well as a Mazda Cosmo Turbo... And a Nissan Bluebird SSS of all things, curse you a zillion times! :dopey:

Well...every once in awhile you want to go and gift yourself.
You are. Ebbros. Come on. I barely do IXOs, and when they're cheap.

Bwahaha it worked.
I have a couple of IXO's i really like them!

"And on this week's "Talk Me Down" 1:64 Version.

Andy takes on the idea of looking up TLVs from Japan Booster... but he needs a way to spend less!"

How do you feel about the idea that one only collects red TLVs?

Do you think this restriction is overall a good decision? Would I be saving myself from spending too much? Would I be limiting myself from some really good cars you feel I shouldn't pass up on? What other supporting reasons do you have for your take?

Perhaps it should be limited to service vehicles only? Stuff with liveries? Hmm... I need want some kind of restriction to limit what I can and can't buy.

:X
