OK. The trio.

Tomica Limited Vintage Super Silhouette Bluebird: Coca~Cola, Coca~Cola light & Autobacs:

Swap that nobody asked for. Sue me.

Couple of cool Greenlight cars.

2010 Ford Shelby GT500

'72 Chevrolet C-10 "Dad's Garage"

Jason wasn't kidding about the GT500. Money.

Yes! Great group shot and the hood swap.
No. That hood swap was 🤬 up. Initially, I was going to mix all three, but after the "Coke" swap, I didn't even want to see a threeway. :dopey:
Curse you Shinji. 👍
Thanks!
Buy all of them, including the black one with polished wheels and the blue stripes. Moneyer. Monier? :P
I also have the Black Bandit. I'm gonna call it good.

Not going to lie, the Coca Cola light one doesn't look half bad with the red hood on it.

Edit: Whoa, the TLV GT-R's are in, already?

I have trouble getting interior shots for some reason. That is an awesome grab nevertheless, Shinji. 👍

Every time I order from tomca, I get a Minichamps 64 catalogue.
I'll scan it, and keep a digital record of it. But now, lemme show you a 'Cedez.

If there's one thing I've noticed so far, Minichamps skips on creating openings
for grills if it isn't deep. It cheapens the look as even an applied decal to block
in some colour doesn't look fully convincing when you can capture the highlights of the form.

I know, right? Sent you a PM + I didn't check that Land Cruiser 70, but you may want to again. Just in case. Edit: Sorry, it's still out.

OK. j/k I know what you mean.

Still, clean lenses. Front & back. 👍

Noticed yesterday that the Townace is listed as "In-Stock" on my order and just noticed now that the Datsun Truck is too. Landcrusier has me a little nervous.

Don't say it.

I wasn't going to say anything. Okay I probably was.....

Little annoyed about the GT-R's being released early. Combined the one I ordered with the Australia Rally Toyopet Crown. Still got to wait until next month for that one. :grumpy: Unless they want to release the Crown early too? Pretty please?

Yep, it's as I thougt, that white Bluebird is true money. Too bad the same applies to its pricetag, otherwise I'd already bought it. Three of them, in fact. Which is why you have all three Bluebirds, and even went to the lenghts of swapping their hoods, what kind of crazy genius are you!? But yeah, it's hard to argue, those three are the best examples of Super Silhouette cars in scale model history. TLV truly did an amazing job with them, and it shows. :)👍

Oh, and the other two cars are great too. The Shelby is graciously pretty, but it's Dad's Astroturf'd Chevy pickup that takes the cake, what a gorgeous piece of kit that car is. Wish my dad had one of those...

The first batch of GT-R's was always slated for a February 14th release.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't destroy it! It's faaaaaaar too good to be taken appart! And it's very rare! Don't you dare :irked:
Mwuhahahaha! :mischievous:

Maybe i will keep it stock. It was sealed a couple of hours ago though (cards now in the bin), so.... But i will heed your advice. 👍

Yeah, I was going of off AmiAmi too. When they first came up for pre-orders last year they had them listed as March(?) release. I hadn't checked them since then. Oh well.

Ungh. I kinda want to kick you a bit right now.
The package wasn't perfect though. It must have had a fairly big sticker on that had been removed, leaving behind bare cardboard. Besides, i couldn't resist not opening it. :D

Ungh, still. I would have at least kept the card. Altough I'm all for opening cars, there are certain cars that are true survivors. I don't peruse them because I like my cars loose as you know, but when I come across one I respect it and keep it in it's prison because, well, it's been there such a long time . Case in point:

That blister looks fantastic!

Mine's nowhere near as fancy. Good job it was the only thing in the bin.

BTW, That Porsche looks

[EDIT]

@Cano

While i totally see your point about, keeping things in their cage because they've survived. On this occasion i decided to open it, because life is too short (something iv'e a fresh appreciation for over this past month), so i figured i'd go ahead and enjoy this little diecast to its fullest. And i don't regret it at all.

There is another batch for March. Each batch is usually released around the second weekend of the month.
