It's Jada.

Ah, I was thinking it might have been Jada because of the wheels. Wasn't entirely sure though. Thanks for the answer. 👍

Edit: AmiAmi order arrived today. And @Niku Driver HC, just for you. I took more than one picture of each model this time. :P

Can't believe how small this Honda is. Almost make the Suzuki Alto look huge in comparison. :embarrassed:

Finally, this happened to arrive today as well. :D

I had a little HW haul not long ago. Plus, I got my TLV last month and didn't share pics, how rude of me. :P

Pics coming later today.

I haven't seen a Brian's Escort either. My store hasn't gotten any H or J case dumb bins recently. Our supply is running low.

Ooooh baby, that Supra, that Honda, that Levorg... that everything.

Are you into the flame livery, too? I have a special collection of them going; I may have to start another box soon because the first one is now overflowing. Hope it doesn't catch fire.

I know you were beaten up recently in the thread and even called a scalper - but if it makes any difference - I think we're lucky to have you in here. Always good to have an inside man.
Now if we can get someone from the factory to come on over . . .

Post for the day:

Why thank you, Spacegoat. It's always good to someone follow a hint of mine. :D

Also, the TLV's look really good. The Supra's rims are messing with me a bit, but then again Toyotas from the '80 and '90's did have some terrible rims, so... The rest of the car is traditional TLV, and it's looking real good.

As for the Honda, it's one of cutest things ever. That light blue, the tininess of it all, it is just a very likeable car. Tomica picks some of the strangest Kei-cars, but when they do one, it just looks so beautiful. And the size must be crazy to see in person, since it manages to be smaller than an Alto (which by itself is already super small).

The Levorg is traditional basic Tomica, so the rims and such won't look as good. But still, it's an uncommon choice of car, and a nicely-detailed one to boot. If only Tomica made a larger-scale model... Imagine if that was a TLV NEO, the possibilities! But yes, all the cars in your post are awesome, including that Ford Sierra (or is it a Falcon?) on the Chevy's tow bed. 👍

Also, @photonrider, are those HWs in your last picture rubber erasers? That's an odd thing to make a HW into, what's the story behind those?

AAAAAGH screw you. I'm missing that set. The Ala Kart is fantastic. First car to win the America's Most Beautiful Roadster twice.
I didn't realise it had won it twice. Learn something new everyday. Thanks 👍

[Edit]

That's some big trophy.

Those VW Kyoshos will once again be the least popular. That was the case of the previous batch, and I got the orange W12 Nardo for cheap. :sly:

EDIT: The first batch, released a long time ago...

What the hell are you people talking about? Volkswagen is one of the most collected brands in the world, aircooled cars enjoy a cult status and the early watercooled cars are starting to achieve the same. The only cars that could flop from the new series is the lame New Beetle and the Nardo, all others will be hot as hot cakes.

Here, in the store where I usually buy Kyoshos, the Type 181s and the Type 2s aren't being noticed much. They are still being in display, selling for less than 10 USD.

But you are somehow right, when it comes to the Karmann Ghias and classic Beetles. However, that's all about it. Most Kyosho collectors here in my country mainly collect Ferraris, Porsche, and Lamborghinis. VW? Not by much.

This is it. VW is very popular in the Americas, but not as much elsewhere.

All the new kids on the block still have stiff pants for exotics, supers and race cars, and that's what they follow Kyosho for.

@Cano, how often do you search up listings to know Kyosho's VWs do sell very well?

VW is popular everywhere, from tip to toe of the world. You see VW culture from Japan to Australia to Cuba, for eff's sakes. In some places more than others, but the passion is there. Maybe in Kakashi's town it isn't as noticeable, but those cars here wouldn't last an hour and I could sell them for $40. I know for sure the scene in Canada is huge.

And I don't need to follow Kyosho listings, my best friend does every day. He knows what's hard to find and what's not. Hell, I myself have never seen a no-sale Kyosho VW when I've followed stuff I wanted to buy. They might not be the most expensive of cars, but they do sell.

VW Kyoshos don't sell crazy like Lambos, Ferraris and GT40s. I'm still waiting for the 458 Speciale to drop in value.

And most VW fanatics here probably don't know about Kyosho. My walmarts have Greenlight VW panel vans sitting as peg warmers.

This ^ They're quite popular over here too.

Can't really comment on Kyosho's as they're not sold over here, but as far as HW's go, i'd say it's harder to find the VW Caddy (for example), than it is to find the Japanese cars, and we love our Japanese HW's over here.

Crazy money =/= good sellers.

NNNNGH! And in great shape too! I love the earliest Matchbox releases, they were so absolutely simplistic you can't help but love them! This thing is from.... 1957 iirc!
