So.... You won't open it today? Maybe next week? I'm trying to help you man, you can trust me(don't check eBay prices).
I have to find the storage container it's in first, along with all my other Vintage Racing cars, but the only way it's getting cracked open is if there's something significantly wrong with the blister or the card. Otherwise you can continue to suffer. :P

@Johnny1996 - You are as bad as Jarrod!

Then again, when I opened mine, I wanna say the car was worth about $80~$100? I figured that I'm NEVER going to sell it, so why not?

Of course, it's worth well over that now. Today, at $150-ish(?), I don't know if I could have uncarded it. :D

If you think I'm bad now, just wait until a Suzuki Alto comes into play. Ooh boy. :scared:

UUUUUUNNNNNNNGHHHHHHH you're on the envy roll lately. MASSSSSSSIVE envy with that one. Maybe even ore so than with the pink gasser. How much?
I can almost feel the envy myself.

And that's why I'll never open the thing. :P  Seriously though, is it really touching $150 now? Last time I checked like maybe a year ago it was around $100-$120?
Sorry, you are right. I just checked eBay & it's around $120-ish. RLC version are going tad over $150 on the "sold" search, so you & @Johnny1996 can go ahead & open them.
That's what I said about all my PVC figures, and just last week I sold one.... when I could've sold it for more. Le sigh!
I suppose. Still, here's the ordering page of my 510, so I'll be okay. Not even $9 total.

Really? You are supposed to hate all flashy RLC/Convention Hot Wheels I love! *checks price* $25.50 shipped. Not a steal(I think I've seen one for $25, shipped before), but a OK. 👍

Tomicas are great though. One of my favorite things about TLVs are the unsealed box packaging(also very small). Most of the "used" TLVs I buy, they might as well be new. I look at the car, then I put it back in the box. :embarrassed:

He's hungry. Maybe tired, hard to say.

Cheaper than I thought, still not biting. And I don't automatically hate RLC/convention cars, but most of them are pretty soulless. That one screams custom culture thou. There's another one of that casting in green with panel paint -flames that might make me bite, but I think that one's more expensive.

Which one? I want to see it!

Speaking of green, I wouldn't mind that mail-in green A100 either. Maybe one of these days, a right deal would present itself.

Eh, it's the one you mentioned. My memory was fussy about it. Now that I searched for it, the hot Wheels logo on the sides kinda sent it to hell for me. This is still the best version there is for that casting:

I like that. 👍

I'm not sure which one my favorite is. Japan Convention do look good(that black one), but I still like the 76 pair a lot, from the Delivery Series?

Time for new pictures. This one's almost two years old.

I have those two as well, and while solid, they don't speak kustom kulture like the blue one with flames. They scream promotional vehicle or SEMA show car made by 76, but the flamed one has all the right elements, right down to the redlines, of a retro-themed custom that a guy might have in his garage to keep his chopped 50 Mercury company.

I was raised in Japan, man. I've been brainwashed to appreciate mega corporations & corporate culture. I do understand your insights on this though, it's a purist approach, and I'm the exact opposite. You look at my collection & it is all over the frigging place. :D

I have the version they release few years ago. I'd be shocked, if detailing looked close to that.
Auto World is good with their detailing, so since they are taking over the JL brand I would assume some of their AW manufacturing methods will carry over. Looking at that photo, it appears to be so.

It's still the same(casting), but it's different(in execution). You are right about Auto World, too. Good detailers. Best in their price range. They sometimes remind me of American TLV. 👍

Their Eldorado & also Kingswood Estate are the top 2 on this page(my blog).
