Now that was unexpected, the RS-01 getting the HW treatment... I'll wait for the final colors to be revealed before settling on a decision however, as well as waiting to see if its front splitter will be ruined or not.

Such sorcery, a racing car that hasn't had its front splitter ruined by having it facing upwards... Can we dare say that Mattel has finally realized the error of their ways when it comes to that? If anything, that's a plus for the RS, accuracy is better just because of that detail alone.

This appears to be an early prototype. I wouldn't take anything in regards to color, wheels or tampos very seriously.

Found that Falken 934 RSR and left it in the bin. I did however keep the orange Hurlacan, as well as the new release of the MBX Aston DBS Volante in the softest gold.

I just missed the opportunity to score this set on backorder from amiami while back. At the time, I was tad disappointed, but I got over it. Looking at your pic of the Crown "Van" though, I REALLY MISSED OUT. Nissan crate truck looks different from my normal release LV-92a, too.

Well, I did meant what specific model that Corvette is, but I eventually figured out that it is known as the Chevrolet Corvette L88 James Garner, which is part of a dual 2009 release with a Corvette C6.R of some description. Nevertheless, it is gorgeous and indeed a great find on Kakashi's part. 👍
