Later edit: And speaking of Mustangs, who could have thought that such an garish-looking Mustang could hide such a big secret?
I would love the hot wheel in the second pic with real riders.
Also seems to be a promo code for the Subaru website (for ordering these) that gives you free shipping.

Pro tip, Kevin. 👍 I'm sure to get feedback from my coworkers since we deal with the brand X, but I had to get this beauty for $5.75!

Subaru gears(by Staples?) are cheap! P.S. The free shipping code "newowner" worked for me. Thanks again for the tip, Kevin. 👍 P.P.S. Yes, I ordered all three cars in addition to the coffee mug. :P
And then that freakin' Yenko Chevelle doesn't help any matters, the only thing better would be if the car was blue... And the Torq-Thrusts being pained in a darker color is odd, especially when the real-life car doesn't even pack those.
No, red:

Seriously though, this is my favorite GL Yenko Chevelle.

@AOS- & @R1600Turbo - I keep forgetting to tell you guys. I haven't opened them, but I got the packages from you two days ago. Thank you!

Can't exactly tell what that is supposed to mean, but it does sound like a great idea, if anything due to the properly stable front splitter. Seeing that in a Corvette C7.R or a Jaguar Project 7 would be a properly beautiful sight for sore eyes...

Oh you sly rascal, shilling your work while defending your preferences... :P
But I can agree, that red suits the car like a glove, when you have a muscle car bright colors are the bee's knees. And that Yenko is quite sexy...

Glad you were able to get some more stuff. :P I forgot to mention that in my post, it was noted in the link at least. Might be cheaper than going to my actual local Subaru dealership too.... Then again, I can be a little impatient and might just pay the premium at the dealerships.

I was referring to the real life Mustang in the second pic from the link.

I was sort of kidding around, but that really is my favorite GL Chevelle. Beautifully done. If it wasn't a rare release, I'd have opened it by now. :indiff:
Glad you were able to get some more stuff. :P

Seriously though, I've been interested in them since someone here I think linked Lamley post about those cars? They looked to be Greenlight ~ Auto World level quality, and I can't wait to check them out. Thanks again! 👍

Already have a very nice Nurburgring mug though. :P

Just glad to see that Subaru's selling them. Rather than paying (from what I've seen) at LEAST $8.70 per car on eBay.

So nobody has mentioned that there's information about the newest leaked $TH? Shocking, as its a BMW.

One of my all time favourite cars. I'll sure it is going to look great as a super. Highly unlikely that I'll ever find one though...*sigh*

You'll find one. It'll be $25, and you'll need internet connection, but you'll find one. :P

If I could find one in the stores for a couple of bucks, sure. Not going to be paying $25+ online for one, anytime soon, no matter how cool it looks.
and you'll need internet connection,

What's so great about the LeCar? Its a 1983, isn't it?

The casting was made in France for non US markets. Finding one without defect (even when they are still in the blister) is hard to do.

The tampos are this one are slightly off and the paint of the roof is a bit thin on one side.
For a French casting, this is really as Mint as you're going to find.

[The same goes for Leo castings Made in India, Cipsa (Hong Kong castings finished in Mexico) Aurimat castings Made in Mexico and if you can find one, Venezuelan castings]

Thanks for the information. I'm still relatively new to the 1/64 model world, so I don't know all that much.

As the Panda said, there were several places -aside from the ones that Wyvern mentioned, we also got Italy and Japan to add to that list- that had HWs made locally under license to satisfy the local markets. Some times the cars they had were never available on the US, and others there were unique variations that were never available outside said places. So they are very rare and hard to find even in their respective countries. Seeing one outside of there is even rarer, that's why I said Wyvern's Renault 5 was a very hardcore piece.

And @diabolicwyvern Cipsa cars were made here, but the bases of the cars were never modified with country of origin and such -just like some Aurimat stuff as I'm sure you're aware- but they were made locally, not in HK then brought here. We know, we've tracked down Cipsa factory workers who had the stuff in their hands. There's been some hardcore action happenin' lately over here that has uncovered some very wild stuff.

@Cano- I thought Cipsa bought in HK castings and just did the assembly, paint and rivets? You're saying they actually had the molds and cast the bases themselves?

@photonrider - now you need the 5sp version!
