@photonrider - now you need the 5sp version!

You're trying to make me go deep into my boxes, aren't you. Bad Panda. Back to your bamboo shoots!

Cipsa? Didn't they also have their own molds? I remember Cano talking about a difference in quality.

Should I open the new redlines/real riders? I just have them lying in my room.

If you can afford to - open and enjoy.
If you're treating your collection as a business then store it out of sunlight. In the package.
Sometimes keeping it in the package, however, is another way to enjoy it.

@Cano- I thought Cipsa bought in HK castings and just did the assembly, paint and rivets? You're saying they actually had the molds and cast the bases themselves?

Indeedy, why do you think there are so many Cipsa crumblers? The company knew how to work with plastic, the metal stuff was new to them. where did you read that HK thing?

i see that all the time up here, half the time I see it when the employee is putting them back on the shelf...covered in tape... should be obvious

BTW those Matchbox Rescue special cars are at Dollarama now. Go ham.

Edit: @AOS- , don't spill the beans, in case you know the answer.
I'm willing to say it's either a Kyosho or a TSM Models car... And I'm inclining towards the second option.

I posted about this about a month ago, so if anyone paid any attention, they'd have an answer. :P

Also, TSM doesn't make 1/64s I think. Kyosho is the closest you may get until you search for my post.

That looks dope!

Despite how cheap the models feel, the tampo work CM's has done overall is one of the best I've seen in 1/64.

Is that a Kyosho Ferrari? I have one like that on the way, too. Digging the Alfa. 👍
Yeah it is, and the casting doesn't dissapoint. In fact, all of them are brilliant castings - I love you Japan.

Kyosho? They're the only ones who I've seen do a 1/64 P1 outside of HotWheels.

No. Not quite.

You are not the first one that was fooled into believing it was a TSM when you saw the packaging - the first brand that popped into my mind the moment I saw it was TSM as well. In fact, the reason why I posted this photo (which had the brand intentionally hidden) was to see how many people would be fooled into believing it was a TSM, if any.

Anyway, I shall reveal the answer now: the model is made by Colourful Model, also known as CM Model, and here is a teaser of the car:

A full post featuring more pics of the car will come later.

CM? That sounds oddly familiar... It's most likely that it isn't the rebirth of that CM that made great rally scale models, but still, it's oddly familiar.

At least my second guess wasn't too foolish. But in the end, consider me fooled. Looking forward to seeing the car in greater detail.
