Move over, 430 Scuderia. This is my new favorite Ferrari!

Now you oughta get one in red or yellow. Or both, really.
If the 355 looks nice in white, wait until it's painted in blood... of its contemporary rivals.

But a racing 355 is even more tempting, oh the choices in Kyosho world...

Matchbox. There were two Superfast variants of the #16 Fiero, one with the Starburst wheels, and one in the Laser series - the latter (mine) being slightly rarer.

Thanks for clarifying, much appreciated.

So in essence, it is a Matchbox Fiero with a rather rare set of wheels to go along with it... The name "Laser" certainly suits them, if anything. And the casting is quite tidy, I can agree with you on that.

I recognized the rims from the Matchbox MR2 I have. For once, I knew right away where the casting came from. :D

I've finally found the time to dig through my collection and find that Rebel Machine I was talking about...
but upon finding it I realized a major flaw in my re-release theory... this car is a Hotwheels, not a JL

atleast the RX3s raced with monster truck ground clearance... its somewhat accurate..
LOVE the 4 spoke wheels on it too.... must find one...
and the 2000gt..... no words....
and the 2000GTR.... no words...

 Still really nice. 👍
Mine should be coming in tomorrow.
I had completely forgotten about them. It was a pleasant surprise delivery, right to my desk at work. :D

On the downside, wheels look quite cheap? But for the price, I'd buy them all over again. Neat little cars. 👍

Edit: That RX-3 looks WAY better than I thought originally.

I'm also a fan of it throwing the uplifted front chin out the window.

Miracles have happened. A seller has agreed to open up a bunch of multi packs to save me on shipping.
I am buying so much, they are going to ship the loose cars...for FREE.

Most are late mid to late 90s, but to each is own.

Could someone explain Kyosho Minicars to me? I saw a Ferarri F355 GTS on Ebay that looks very nice. It appeared to be an assembly kit, but the body and chassis were already mated on a display stand without the axles or seats. It was partially unboxed to show the car. Is there a reason for this?

Apparently the "assembly kit" approach was a loophole used by Kyosho to avoid the license limitations set by Bburago (who took over the official Ferrari license duties for most non-Japanese markets) regarding Ferrari scale models. Long story short, selling cars as an assembly kit does not count as selling a full Ferrari 1/64 scale model, therefore it is not breaching the deal made between Ferrari and Bburago...

The cars come in kit form. They have a small screwdriver and a few plastic parts to clip together, nothing particularly taxing. The ebay photos show the bodies of the cars on the display stands for scale purposes only.

Thanks for clearing that up. Sounds like something I would enjoy.

Ok, let's play this little game I like to call "Drooling Save". The rules are simple; look at photos like these, and see how long can you go with dropping a single drop of drool. Ok, here we go;

Hmm... nope, drooling already. Christ, this game is hard...
