Anybody else interested in participating? Any collectors with collection large enough to select your favorite ten are welcome. I'm asking for your favorite(desert island) top ten, why you chose them & pics of each cars. While blogging, I came up with an idea of doing ten "Desert Island" 1/64 cars. I've just come up with it, but I'm hoping to make it similar to the "Our First TLV" post. In that post we featured @RCKakashi14 , @Spacegoat , @MedigoFlame , @Nessy , @AOS- , @R1600Turbo , @Daniel008 , @Cano from this community & their first TLVs.
It should have the same wheels as the two cars above it.I will be there to make it right.
Should be showing up in stores now. I've had one for a week or two.Japanese collectors on Twitter's been posting this car. Makes me jealous....
My collection seem to be shrinking. Come next month I may not even have 10 cars to choose from.Anybody else interested in participating? I am just too much going out every month. Trying to consolidate some things. Had to give up the garage at my apartment.Don't tell me you aren't working....
Sounds like it's time to go zero spending for just little bit, save yourself some funds, create enough cushion so you can get in front of it. I hope you hang onto your collection.I am just too much going out every month. Trying to consolidate some things. Had to give up the garage at my apartment.
From the (blog)post I've been trying to put together:
Oh and adore you and all of your Silhouette's.
You guys are like my bff's or something. I love you guys, too.I heart you.

Thank you so much for the cool nickname(I like it!). Sorry, paint still sucks.Gee, I wonder who is that Rokugo guy... And why does he hate metallic flakes so much?
Boo, I love my TLV BMW.

And now some good news! The Majorette Dacia that I bought from @AOS-, but forgot to take a picture of.
Sorry
I don't think TLV did the car justice, considering some of the classic castings we have seen from them. My gripe is not at all about the car, or casting itself though. It's the technique used on their metallic paint. TLV take pride in this, I've read it in interviews. I think it's one of the worst looking paint in 1/64 scale. Considering the miniature scale of the models, metallic flakes are WAY too prominent IMO. I can't stand them.Boo, I love my TLV BMW.
My friend, you couldn't be more wrong. Lexus & BMW are my two favorite luxury car brand. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Meh-cedes(just being playful).I know, that's what I told Shinji-san. After all, the flake issue is far more evident in TLV's Mercedes 190 casting, and I didn't see anything like a severe punishment for that. Clearly, he has a strong personal bias for Mercedes...
I like to let people know where I stand.you're just that predictable...
Thank you!Maybe it's because the size of the flakes on a 1/64 scale car looks like tacky nail polish for paint.
Take off, eh!What are you- Canadian?

Interesting, I'll admit that the flakes are indeed too big, but it really never bugged me.

Mine's loose. Sweet, but I like the purple one Harry posted better(also have it Loose).
