I've got only some Tomika and ChoroQ collections by comparison with some others in this thread that are "genuine" collectors of miniature models, and if asked by someone else about other marques I'd say I'm atrocious at them.

I was about the same, maybe until about five years ago. Cool hobby, but too easy to go overboard with it.

What if you plow into a truck carrying logs and one of them decides to intrude your personal space through the windshield? Airbags won't do much good then...

Perhaps a bit more impressive than the slightly blurry and covered-up VTEC logo in your cover pic, no?

I kid, I kid, that's not the point of these lists (it's just fun to poke your editing skillz a tiny bit). It's certainly a very cool list, Ramu clearly loves CM's work. And why shouldn't he? They have really made some of the finest rally scale models in 1/64 scale model story, and when they look like his Stratos you can see why they have that reputation.

Can't say I adore Suki's ride, but that Chevelle has all of my attention. Being such a badass track car, all it's missing is a slightly more unique and colorful paint scheme.

But that Datsun which R1600 posted... I mean, I've seen some cool HW Datsuns, but bloody hell! Andy is right, people will go ham, me included.

We had some red heat races today(our $20 track), and one of the prize cars was this:

My nephew noticed the LEGO-like figure in the pic, and we figured that LEGO man would fit in it, so he went after it & got it. He tried to install the LEGO figure? No go. Opening in the turret's too small to seat the LEGO figure. What a letdown!
