Doubt it.Yes great case indeed, probably the best one so far imo. That Odyssey is gonna be hard to find on the pegs

Doubt it.
Yeah, I think it'll be a peg warmer.Which part? The Odyssey being hard to find?
Yeah, I think it'll be a peg warmer.
So in the end, you got both a good scale model and a good history lesson. Win-win situation! 👍
They are my butterface cars. Attractive, but don't turn them around.Actually I was going to ask you why you chose those particular two as background cars. They're perfect in that role. Please, don't ever change them.
My god dude. All great cars, but man, that Suzuki. 🤬 awesome. These arrived this afternoon. (Apologies for the double post)
I will then save my joke for another time. j/kI'll post the Tomica van later, for some reason the pics wouldn't work when I was putting this post together.
I check out all brands. So many brands & so many different style of awesome & beautiful.Dat Suzuki doe!
My goodness you guys are making it really hard for me to stick with HWs only 🤬🤬
True. And unlike Andy, I don't tear them apart or bury them in dirt.See? Crappy cars have their purpose in life!
We should all learn from the fangoat. You should start tweeting away to TLV, Mattel & Greenlight, too. Don't worry if you haven't yet gathered what to say. We will help you with that.So it's our job to nitpick, whine and be pedantic like it's our life on the line? That's... bold, to say the least, but complaining is key to have key features replaced and/or improved. Let's just change the "ignorantly" to "wisely", because we can't waste resources like that.
I am the Suzuki Fronte fangoat. John from Lamley is too, so I'm in good company.I can certainly see why Shinji-san loves the TLV Fronte. 👍
Shinji-san didn't even know who Stirling Moss is!
First of all, I'm still trying to figure out who this Shinji san is, and secondly, you guys know I'm old. If the guy came up to me & introduced himself, I'd be like:Heresy.
So cheap, so good. No joke is needed.Even still, Shinji-san is always right about the Fronte, because that is still one of the best cheap TLV castings. It sure beats an overpriced Corolla, that much I can say...
If you can find 180SX, you can find Odyssey. That's just me. Tree'd, but still relevant.Yes great case indeed, probably the best one so far imo. That Odyssey is gonna be hard to find on the pegs
Mother truckers. I've been checking almost everyday!Edit: I just read on the hot wheels IG page that the Japan historics will be hitting the stores late May or early June in the US
Same. Who was that again?Indeed, I had no idea about the history of the car until after I ordered it. Cool connection. 👍
Totally missed that. Yes. 👍Nani- I'm totally down for that Focus. No big wheels in the back, possibly no front/rear lamp tampos. Unpainted grills.
10/10 case, would pre-order again.
My joke's now working, too. Your mama so fat, weird looking Nissan van too narrow. I'll get me coat. And now that the pics are working, here's the Tomica van. I'll be honest it looks a little weird, it's very narrow? But I still like it.
No basics so I bought the Datsun 9 pack, this was the only one with real cars except the dune buggy

I was able to find both 180SXes(red & GReddy), but I haven't seen CR-X. I don't expect Odyssey to be as popular as 180SX, so you may still have chance? I wish you luck.I guess I was thinking more in terms of where I live. Perhaps it will be easier to find the Odyssey where you are but I'm almost certain I won't see any on the pegs, at least not for a while. Around here I still haven't seen the GReddy 180SX or the CRX. Hoarders take all the JDMs and leave the muscle cars behind, just a ruthless place to collect Japanese or Euro casts

don't hunt anymore, so I missed out on the two Skylines from the "Road Trippin'" series, but I found a pair on eBay for something like $13.50(shipped), so I got it. Nicer of the Hakosuka & R34 HW's done IMO. I'm glad I paid the premium to get them.

Slight overdose of Greenlight

Funny though. Out of all the pics I put up on Flickr yesterday, guess which two the "Nissan Toys & Models" group invited me to put on their page?
Yep, the van.
I was surprised too.
True. And unlike Andy, I don't tear them apart or bury them in dirt.
Out of context!Said noone ever.
That's like, your opinion, mang. Looks like a healthy dose to me. :tup:Slight overdose of Greenlight
Finally we are on the same page.I was surprised too.
So, should I call you as "Shinji-jiichan"? I may need to rethink my nickname for you...
Stereotyping! Stereotyping! I'd say more, but it's hard to type while driving stick. That joke crashed and burned, like an Asian man driv...
Do you collect minicar at all? Nice to see you in here.
That's too bad. Japan get's lots of coveted Tomicas, Kyoshos, etc.I was an eager collector of mini model cars years before, but not anymore now unfortunately.
Still, congrats on having your pic chosen, that's proper recognition. 👍

Gomenasai, sensei, but you are already in the "Karate Kid" phase if you are speaking about how old you are... Look on the bright side; you'll make for a very capable martial arts teacher.
Did the 'Murica already get that deep into your driving, Shinji-jiisan? I know most kei-class cars in Japan do not feature the mighty stick, but still... And don't type while driving, you may crash or do something dangerous like that.
... I just hope he ain't grumpy to you by calling him "Shinji-jiisan" despite his age and how younger you are than him by generations...
(P.S. His real name is actually "Shintaro" and not "Shinji" by the way. )
