Just got kicked out of my local Kmart after a kid who I go to school with that happens to be an employee started giving me a hard time as I was looking through a Hot Wheels display. I tried to get the kid off my back and I didn't even do or say anything too crazy but I guess another employee saw it and grabbed the store manager who then told me to abandon my shopping cart and leave. What angered me more is I had two errors and two THs, and I hadn't even made it halfway through the display yet. Not to mention there was another one right beside it with full pegs and I hadn't even made it to the actual toy section yet.
All the M4s I've seen didn't have a stripe on the car. Maybe it's a card error.I wouldn't have submitted so easily. If I had stuff I wanted and they weren't going to budge from their standpoint, I'd have negotiated to have them watch me as I went and paid and left.
Reason for this is that this kid is an employee. First and foremost, their profession comes before personal relationships when they're on the job. So if he decides to make a mocking statement to a customer, he's put himself in a poor position and you should capitalize on that because it was completely uncalled for. He then teams up with his manager to mistreat a customer who was not in the wrong. This can be taken up with the manager's superior, the district manager. He/she is the one you'll need to have on your side. OR at least get in touch with someone at an even higher level. That guy making rude comments isn't what's going to get them to listen; it's the fact that the manager did not respond appropriately to the situation.
But to back up to the root of the scene, you said you tried to get him off your back. I can only imagine that another employee may have summoned the manager because it looked like you meant harm to an employee or store property itself. My initial question is to ask how you tried to deal with the situation and whether your actions in any way can be interpreted as threatening or anything the staff can have reason for kicking you out.
Edit: Sharing some errors I found the other day which I no longer invest in:
OH5 in the back
Missing stripe (I'm guessing). Maybe I should have grabbed it, since people are stilling flipping their booties over stripe-less cars.
The most I did other anything verbal was hold my hand up in a "what?" manner which is probably what did it although personally that's minor compared to what it could've been I suppose. There wasn't any physical contact made with anyone other than a random customer nudging me on my way out the door asking "what the hell happened" out of curiosity, which is nothing.I wouldn't have submitted so easily. If I had stuff I wanted and they weren't going to budge from their standpoint, I'd have negotiated to have them watch me as I went and paid and left.

It's not all bad with the $TH. I met up with a friend at Arby's before I hit the Kmart and he gave me some money to take a look and maybe buy some cars for him. After I left Kmart I pulled into an AutoZone and called him, told him what happened. He originally couldn't make it to Kmart since he had to stop at a repair shop to get a tire from his dad's car repaired, but after he was done there, he stopped in at Kmart and picked up the $TH. Which I originally intended on getting for him.@Johnny1996 - I agree with Andy. It's Kmart, but the dude was still way out of line. If you guys were good friends, well, that's just how good friends greet each other(lol), but if what happened to you happened to me, there would be accountability. Like Jason said, venting at the corporate, at least with me, would make me feel better. I'm very sorry to hear about the $uper TH.

Presentation like this really hits the spot for me. New GreenLight International DuraStar Flatbed with other Gulf livery cars.
Actually, you have a few 2017 A-case cars in there. (F&F Charger, Mustang Convertible are a couple)
Does your M4 have a stripe on the bonnet? If not, does the illustration on the card have a stripe on the bonnet?
According to eBay, that's worth about $175. Not a bad grab.
Yeah, same as yours and every one I've
seen, images and unboxing vids of. Stripe on card, no stripe on cast.
Raw metal chase. What's special about that truck set?
Peterbilt Tank Truck. Never owned this one before and seeing it was in decent shape, I got it. Goes great with the Cement Mixer. $5

Thanks for sharing, I was not aware that. Such a cool feature for a great casting. Too bad mine doesn't have them. All I see in its place are empty holes.I remember that one from the '80s and one day discovering that the hoses pull out at the back of the tank.
These turned up today.

Love the detail of the small Integrale decal on the side skirt.
